Ultimate support, durability, with added comfort compared to previous versions.

Taking the support, and stability that the Propulse is known for, this update to the Babolat Propulse Fury 3 AC improves upon the cushioning, and adds even more durability. With an increase of EVA foam in the midsole, in addition to the Ortholite comfort foam insoles, our playtesters found a more comfortable and plush ride underneath the foot. A reinforcement plate has been added to the shank, while the 360 degree fit helps to secure the foot in place. The medial side of the upper has added protection and the Lace-in system keeps the laces from being exposed to dragging. The outsole features Michelin's premium rubber formula, to maximize durability and traction on all court surfaces, specifically hard courts. Backed by a six month outsole durability guarantee.

  • Upper: Power Belt technology locks in the heel and midfoot with an external shell for exceptional stability. Synthetic materials and mesh combine for lightweight comfort, and support.
  • Midsole: EVA midsole has been increased from previous versions, for good cushioning, support and responsiveness under foot. Reinforcement plate improves stability for powerful movements. KPRS-X gives a plush ride, with increased shock absorption.
  • Outsole: Michelin's premium rubber formula, with dense zones in high wear regions, and less density in strategic areas to cut down on weight. Durability and traction on a variety of surfaces, specifically hard courts. Backed by a six month outsole durability guarantee.
  • Color: Grey / Aero

BoatsThis fit gigantically wide. Great shoe if you want a wider shoe but I had to send mine back.

Great shoesComing from the Original Barricade's that took a week to break in, Solecourt Boosts which were amazing but now discontinued, ASICS Gel Resolution 7 which fit great but looked awful, ASICS Gel resolution 8 and 9 wide which gave me calluses on my pinky toe knuckle, and Babolat AC, settled on the Propulse Fury. The shoe fits great for my wide feet. They feel fine moving around the court but can get tricky when I’m moving from an extreme position to another because the shoe lets my foot move a bit in extreme side-to-side. The lacing system is a bit weird and it’s a bit tricky figuring out the best way to get a horizontal cross when everything is slanted. Especially when I use a runner’s knot to keep my heel secure in my shoe. The shoe looks good and it stays clean even though I run everywhere off the beaten path. After 3 months of play, I’m seeing the bottom of my shoe wear down but with a thick sole, I don’t see myself poking a hole anytime soon. I’m not a singles player so take this part of the review with a grain of salt. I’m very satisfied with the shoe despite a few quirks to it. I’ll keep testing new shoes to hopefully keep my foot super secure but after so many different shoes, I’ll gladly stick to this one.

Great except…Overall the shoe is wonderful. Will definitely buy it again. The only issue I have is there is a design element on the shoe that rests against my knuckle on my big toe. It’s a plastic design element and it is solid. It rubs the knuckle. I wish it wasn’t there.

Stable and comfortableFirst time user of these. I play five to six times a week. Got them on the promise to be comfortable shoes with a warranty. Shoes true to the size but narrower than I'd expect. If case if you need to wear some bulkier insoles, order at least half size bigger. Needed three to five games to break in then they became really comfortable. Shoes not so low to the ground but stable and snug. Can't say much about durability yet, but the out sole seems to be massive and I hope to get four to five months out of them.

The old ones were better! On my third pair of the new Propulse Fury 3 since they keep wearing out well before the warranty deadline. Not nearly as durable as the prior (electric blue) version. Comfortable, but you have to tie them really tight to stay on (I've stepped out while chasing a drop shot). And the laces don't stay tied so they need to be replaced ASAP. I'm invested in my warranty replacements (Babolat is very efficient on that) but will revert to something else when these are done.

Babolat Propulse Fury 3 Tennis ShoesBest overall tennis shoe I have ever had. Comfortable, fits snuggly, supports my feet very well and wears well. Relatively light for the support it provides.

warranty replacement. As a 3.5 skinny male player, it lasts about 54hr of casual play (4 months playing 1.5 hours twice a week) Love the snug fit great for wider feet. I had tried all other major bands. This one fit the best. 6 months warranty claim requires filling out the serial number. Suggest taking photo of serial number when new. Otherwise may have hard time reading it after months of play.

All style, no functionBig disappointment with this shoe, as I was very happy with the fit and durability of the older Propulse Fury and just needed to replace them. These have a poor fit and terrible lacing system that digs into my ankles when tightened. They tried to emulate some other brands with bubble-like plastic asymmetrical styling. It's a loser. Several tennis friends have asked "whats with the weird looking shoes?". I don't expect this model to stay around too long.

Fit great, nice stability, relatively lightSo far, so good. I tried on 3 or 4 other tennis shoes, and these fit my wide feet by far the best. I bought them about a half size large, and with my D/E width, they fit really well. They seem to hold your heel nicely, are stable, and provide good support for my high arch. They seem somewhat light weight, and they are reasonably priced. So far, so good!

Best Shoe of 2023?I would like to nominate a shoe for your next TOP 5 list - the BABOLAT PROPULSE FURY 3. I have tried all the top five shoes on this list, and I have to say, these are pretty sweet! They are very well balanced shoe with great stability. A nice performing shoe all around. Cushioning is good, fit is medium, maybe a smidge generous compared to something like a Barricade. This shoe is a better performing shoe all-around to the Asics Court FF3, the Asics Resolution 9, the Adidas Barricade, or any Nike shoe made today. It feels a bit like a Diadora Blushield shoe in terms of cushion but like a Barricade in terms of stability. Closest shoe I can think of to compare it to might be the Diadora B.Icon - which is high praise in my book. I just got my pair, but so far, I like it a lot. Definitely a shoe to try out. Could be the best shoe of 2023!
