Overview
Rafael Nadal's string of choice is the thickest and most durable version of RPM Blast. This co-poly string is also very, very spin friendly. The slick surface of RPM Blast allows the main strings to slide out of alignment, grab the ball and then snap back to add spin to the shot. While all co-poly monofilaments do this to some extent, our lab tests confirm that RPM Blast is exceptional in this regard. Though RPM Blast offers a slightly softer feel than traditional polyesters, it is by no means the softest co-poly available. It is an ideal choice for big hitters with heavier racquets seeking maximum control, durability, and spin. (And it seems to be working quite well for Rafa!)

awsome spin this string can put on a ball100 percent pure spin. I can see why Nadal uses this it. Helps a lot with spin and is really durable.

A lot to chewI think it's a very good string if I played with a racquet with different specs...otherwise, it's a meaty string on an 8 pts HL racquet. My 2 cents is that you're going to need more help from the weight of the head of the racquet to tame this string. It looks like the same TW reviews for 15L and 16 black RPM, even though the scores were different -- we need the different gauges reviewed separately, please. Thank you.

Comments: Absolutely great string. I only tried it in the 15 gauge. It feels really good when it opens after a few hitting sessions. It's a good blend of softness and stiffness.

Comments: 15g RPM Blast is awesome. I recommend it for open string patterns or racquets similar to the AeroPro Drive. String it two pounds less than usual. It holds tension well and produces massive amounts of spin. Great pocketing and easy on arm. All aspects of my game have been improved. I play with an APD strung at 55 lbs. Usually 58 or 60 lbs with a 16g string.
