Overview
Aptly named, the CRUSH Freestyle 16 pickleball paddle is tuned to deliver easy power, and huge spin with enough touch to be in the all-court performance category, instead of pure power, or control. Manageable power, along with good comfort, and excellent paddle durability is afforded from its uni-body construction. Together with the Freestyle's 7.8 oz average weight, and fusion shape of 16.3" x 7.44" further enhances the paddle's controlled power theme. Harnessing that power, with point commanding precision and spin potential is CRUSH'S combination of a 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core and the use of raw carbon fiber for the contact surfaces. And sealing the deal, in terms of maximizing the size of the sweet spot and curtailing vibration, even on off center ball contact, is the proprietary thermo-formed foam injection around the edge of the core. In addition, the Freestyle uses EVA in the 5.25 in. handle which filters out unwanted vibration, and is long enough for players to control the action with two hands. Whether you prefer to power or feel your way towards the kitchen, the CRUSH Freestyle is all-court capable enough to allow for a combination of both.
