This classic grip also provides a more direct feel of the bevels which allows for easier and more precise grip changes. This grip will also add some weight to your racquet and provide a more headlight balance.

Best GripI have been using Fairway grips since 1980. The first thing I do when I purchase a new racket is to replace the stock grip with the Fairway. This grip offers outstanding feel and unlike most stock synthetic grips does not retain moisture. While it does not come with an adhesive back, one can secure it to their racket through double-sided tape. I would recommend one pre-stretch the grip before putting it on, and use a staple gun to secure it to the butt cap.
I have recommended this grip to my friends and they have all used it and swear by it now.

Comments: My preferred choice for leather overgrips. The whidth and suppleness are pretty much ideal. And I use double-sided tape so I don't miss it being pre-installed on the leather.

Comments: The Fairway Leather Grip Midsize 48" is an amazing grip! I put this grip on a Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 85 (re-release). The Fairway Grip is far superior to the pre-installed Wilson Leather Grip, in feel, comfort, style, and playability. It seemed to absorb vibration better than the Wilson and provided better connection to my hand, reducing slippage. I would totally recommend this grip to all levels. Installation was quick and easy, I only used double-sided tape on the butt cap and tightly wrapped the grip around the handle and finished it off with grip tape. The 48" x 7/8" grip was perfect for a standard length tennis racquet, with little waste. I've recently come back to the sport after a 2 decade break and at this time I would consider myself a 3.0-3.5 player.

Comments: These are great leather grips. They reveal the bevels on the racquet handle for a solid grip and yet the leather is supple and absorbent. Even though there isn't adhesive, I had no problem holding the low end with my thumb and wrapping the grip around a Wilson PS 90.

Comments: Very nice grip. I always have a slight difficulty getting around the butt cap cleanly, but with the Fairway I had absolutely no problems. It was my cleanest and easiest grip application thus far. I don't know if it was the thinness of the leather or the suppleness or a combination of both but it was very easy to put on. The description says the leather is 1.46mm thick, however I measured it at four different points and my readings were 1.34, 1.31, 1.35, 1.34. This is fine by me because I like very thin grips.
