Overview

Please Note: Gearbox has changed the name of the shape of this paddle from Fusion to Integra. The paddle remains the same, no playability changes have been made. You may receive a paddle with a Fusion or Integra cosmetic.

Gearbox did its homework to improve and refine the Pro Power Integra paddle prior to its release. At the heart of the matter is Gearbox's patented and proven SST Core, which smoothly facilitates the energy return (power) to the ball, is virtually indestructible and also quiets the response. The new Power Matrix Technology features a tri-segmented separation between the 14-mm SST Core the paddle frame and handle. Together with a denser celled SST core, the Power Matrix Technology organizes power without sacrificing precision and maintains feel, while filtering out unwanted vibration. To complete the Pro Power Integra's all-court versatility, a third patented technology called TXR Surface Grip provides a predictable grip on the ball, allowing players to load their shots with spin to control play and their opponents.  With an average weight of around 8 ounces and 16-inch length, the Pro Power Integra mainlines a blend of control and power, while its narrower 7.35-inch span across the paddle face makes it easier to roll the ball from any part of the court. Unique to most 16-inch paddles and to further help control the action with one or two hands Gearbox uses a longer 5.5-inch handle length, and standard is a 4-inch grip diameter. For players looking toward cutting-edge performance and paddle versatility, the Gearbox Pro Power Integra is ideal whether you are rolling, chipping, pushing or crushing the ball from any spot in the court.

Perfect paddle for former tennis playersPlayed tennis competitively for 45 years. Picked up PB recently. Started with an Engage Pursuit Ultra MX. Just moved to this Gearbox Power Elongated paddle. I tried the smaller Gearbox power fusion as well. Seems exactly the same just with a bit more reach with the elongated. The difference between the Engage and the Gearbox is massive. The biggest factor is the ability to hit a looping groundstroke or volleys. Something that was not possible with the Engage. Third shot drives that sharply dip at the kitchen line are actually possible. Short balls that are below the net can be hit hard and looped in. The ball feels like it is held by the paddle, something similar to high end table tennis rubber. Power is effortless but so is the touch. The only real downside is that you better hit it fairly close to the center. Edge shots are more like wounded ducks. The paddle allows me to play an aggressive game similar how I like to play tennis doubles.
