Overview

With G-Spin 3, Gosen delivers shaped co-poly to intermediate and advanced players. With its low-power level, this string will enable you to attack the ball with your most powerful strokes. It also comes with six sharp edges for extra bite and easier access to spin. All in all, this co-poly has a rare blend of durability and comfort, making it a great option for the player who wants a more arm-friendly control string. At $10, this one takes a bite out of the ball not your wallet.

Most underrated string on the market!Without a doubt the most underrated string on the market! In my opinion, it's a better version of Yonex PolyTour Pro. Has a really crisp feel and gives you the right amount of pop, too. Some balls seem like they're going long then dip back in. Has been great for my elbow too just as soft as PolyTour Pro. Not to mention the price point is literally half that of other top strings. I'm switching to this string!

Comments: I just hit with this string and it's legit. Strung it at 45 lbs in a Prince Twistpower 97 and it complements the racquet perfectly. Gives you the perfect combination of power and control. Doesn't necessarily have the spin potential as advertised, but wasn't a problem for my game. Would highly recommend to any players at the 4.5 level or above.

Comments: I decided to playtest G-Spin 3 after seeing all the hype reviews. I actually really enjoyed the playtest! It plays like Volkl Cyclone, but with enhanced comfort and ball pocketing. I think my favorite aspect of this string was the crisp feel, which is probably from the thin gauge.

Comments: I'm a tennis connoisseur: I playtest almost 100 different strings and racquets a year, and I'm often the first to receive new gear as companies send it directly to me. I was really excited to try this string as I don't normally use Gosen Strings. I strung this in my Yonex Vcore Pro 310 at 53lbs. I have to say, I was incredibly surprised by the performance of this string. It reminisces of Solinco Hyper-G Soft and has many of the same characteristics - great access to spin, high comfortability, and a low powered-response. What makes G-Spin 3 stand out from Hyper-G is the lower launch angle. This string sends the ball through the court as opposed to arching with a lot of clearance over the net. It has slightly more pop than Hyper-G, but you don't necessarily sacrifice control. I actually found myself preferring this string, as I was able to produce more winners and put more pace on the ball. Overall, Gosen G-Spin 3 is a very solid option for players that regularly use polyester strings and want a comfortable and spin-friendly option.

Comments: Just hit with Gosen G-Spin 3 for the first time and the comfort, control, spin potential and ball pocketing is outstanding. I strung this up at 58 pounds, and the power is a bit on the lower side. If you're a big hitter looking for control and plenty of spin and feel, definitely give this a try. I play with the Head Speed Pro, and I also tried this string in a hybrid set up, but I think a full-bed is the way to go. The durability of this string also surprised me, lasted 2 weeks even in a 17 gauge. G-Spin 3 is a winner and one of the best strings currently on the market!

Comments: How are Gosen strings so underrated? I'm an avid Volkl Cyclone user and I found this string way better in all departments.

Comments: I tried this string on a friend's recommendation. I'd have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. Plays similarly to Volkl Cyclone, but has a more plush response. Great combination of spin potential and controllable power.

Comments: One of the best strings I've tried to date! Gives you that perfect blend of control, spin, and power. Feels a tad firmer than Yonex Poly Tour Pro, but a bit softer than RPM Blast. I've struggled with tennis elbow for several years, but this string is soft enough for me. Initially the string feels a bit dead, but really opens up after the first hour. I would highly recommend this string to anyone that's looking for a great poly!

Comments: My favorite string setup is Volkl Cyclone 17 at 52 lbs. I occasionally try other strings from the "softer-spin" category just for fun. G-Spin3 has been the only string that I like much better than Cyclone. Better pocketing, equal spin, better durability. I just purchased 5 more to use over the next several months and will likely change permanently from Cyclone. Outstanding string especially since no one I know has used it and I have seen no online reviews.

Comments: I tried this string because I am a fan of the Gosen Sidewinder 17. I actually liked this a lot better. I strung this at 59 pounds in my Pure Aero, the amount of pace, spin, and control was impressive. I am switching from Tecnifibre Black Code 4S to this string. Better playability and more durable overall. I am a 4.5 level player.
