Overview

One of the best synthetic guts available, Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super offers an impressive level of all-around playability. Plays great in a full set or hybrid.

Compared to OG Micro, this string has a thicker center core along with a more durable coating. The result is a slightly firmer feel and higher durability than OG Micro.

Nice stingI am old school and for the most part have always used synthetic gut and have used Prince, Dunlop and Babolat recently. I ordered up 1 set of the Gosen to try it out and have had it in my racquet for a 2 weeks and enjoy the feel and the rebound I get from the string. I am primarily a base line player and play a control type game and this string allows me to keep the ball in play with nice pace on the ball. I strung it at 55lbs in my Dunlop frame. I think for the price you can't go wrong and may be a good 2 string if you do a hybrid with a multi or poly although I am not a fan of poly.

Great value for moneyI string for other people and this is my standard synthetic gut offering. The playability is pretty good for its price, goes very well as a cross for a poly hybrid, and it's one of the most durable basic synthetic guts out there. Absolutely great value for money.

Comments: Polys were killing my wrist even with low RA frames. Nothing beats the control of a poly, but I could not risk injuring myself so bad that it would take me out of playing tennis. Gosen Micro Super in a full bed is soft enough not to kill my wrist, but has good control. This string is also tough. Logged about 30 hours of play before they snapped. Had plenty of spin to keep the ball down in the court. Strung at 53 lbs in a 18x20 63 RA.
