This innovative co-polyester monofilament has impressive comfort for a control string

Introducing Lynx Touch! With this string, Head serves up a versatile co-poly with above average comfort and touch. Unlike the stiff construction of a traditional polyester monofilament, Lynx Touch benefits from a co-extrusion process that places a soft and elastic material inside a durable and translucent polymer matrix. In addition to giving you the needed control to attack the ball from the baseline, Lynx Touch delivers surprisingly good feel around the net. Poly players in search of a more responsive and comfortable option should give this string a serious look. It also makes a good starter poly for those new to the breed.

Best Hybrid stringThis string has two uses in my opinion. One as a beginner poly for kids that are starting to hit more topspin and are breaking multifilament strings. Two as a hybrid in a fully Poly set up to soften the string bed without changing the launch and and control of the string bed too much. I have wrist issues and am very sensitive to poly strings but this string lets me play with some of my favorite polys in the main and not destroy my wrist.

Jury Is OutThis string is a bit of an anomaly. I string racquets professionally and I have received different feedback from my customers. Poly players complain that unless strung tighter than normal, the string is a bit launchy and loses a bit of control. Multi players loved the added control and the relatively softer feel. So, as a poly, I give it relatively average marks for playability and high marks for comfort. As a multi, it fits right into the other mixed strings available right now and should be one of the first ventures for a multi-player wanting a bit more control.

Soft & powerfulGood access to spin & comfortable on the arm/shoulder. Used on Prince Warrior 100 @ 54 lbs. Would buy again but may up the tension a bit

Perfect Hybrid StringThis could be my new string of choice. I strung this in my Head Speed Pro and it played fantastic. I normally play with either a full bed of Hyper-G soft 18 gauge at 50 lbs. or a hybrid of Hyper-G soft 18g (mains) and Head Velocity MLT 16g (crosses) at 50 lbs. The TW review is accurate but I'd give it a slightly higher score for spin (70 vs 60). Although it's a round co-poly, it's slick so that there's good snapback. What's most impressive is the feel and control. It has a somewhat muted plush feeling and has excellent ball pocketing. The other benefit with this string is that it doesn't produce that annoying pinging sound that you sometimes get with co-poly strings. lastly, the tension maintenance is also very good. I've seen some reviews where others have suggested that this would be great cross string in a hybrid setup given that this string has a slick coating. I can see how they might be right. Definitely worth a try as a full bed or hybrid. This could be the closest thing to a hybrid tennis string.

Super soft & comfyThis string is easy on the arm. Feedback is a tad muted but my shoulder pain is gone so I'm happy. Using in a Prince Warrior 100 at 54 lbs this Winter. May try 57 lbs for warmer temps.

Great StringI was looking for a soft poly to help get more comfort on my 18x20 Head Prestige Pro and 18x20 Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD. This string feel really nice and helps the racquets have a touch more feel, a bit more pop and nice control. I have the racquets strung up around 46 lbs on the mains and the crosses are at 48 lbs with Gamma Amp Jet (17 gauge) or Tourna Big Hitter Black 7 (17 gauge) to add spin and bite. This combo has been great for me, give it a try!
