Overview

Pre-stretched for longer lasting playability Isospeed V18 is a comfortable co-poly that does not skimp on control or spin. This string's unique comfort comes in part from additives designed to boost elasticity. The result is a control string that is more responsive on slower strokes and touch shots. Finally, this string's ultra-thin gauge is ideal for grabbing and rotating the ball. Did we mention the spin?

  • Gauge: 19/1.12mm

Control, Feel, Consistent, Durable as an XMy arm just can't take full beds so I've been on a year long search for a cross string that doesn't have any downsides. This one from Iso is not only great in every dimension as a cross, but it's $7.95! Sign me up! Currently using it as a cross string to Confidential 18g mains and it's been in my racquet for 4 months and the bed hasn't changed after the first hour (very firm). I run it in my Phantom 100P at 50.

Best String I Have Used!Without a doubt so much control, pocketing and feel. I've tried a lot of strings and this one clicks most every box. I have a medium swing. I would say control and feel is what I like best about this string. If I'm being super critical, the only deficiency is at net. The ball can launch a little livelier than other strings but I'm more a baseliner anyway.

Comments: Beware big hitters. This string will break after a set in a 16x19 pattern. It may last a match or 2 in a tight string pattern. It's a 1.12 mm string which is an 18l. I compared it side be side to Volkl V Torque Tour 19g and it is thinner than the VTorque. It possibly has a use as a hybrid but don't see anyone using it in a full setup. Sticking to Solinco and Volkl.

Comments: I am now using this string as the crosses in my Wilson Ultra 103S along with Technifibre Razor Code 18g in the mains. I am very happy with the performance of both strings at 54 pounds. This makes a great combo in this slightly oversize racquet.

Comments: I was very happy with this string. I have my Wilson Ultra 103S strung at 54 lbs and it's quite good. I was very pleased with the control and touch, good power as well. At $7.50 a set, they are a real bargin.

Comments: I am using Isospeed V18 in a Dunlop F2.0 Tour which has a dense 18x20 string pattern.Soft feel, easy on the arm. Easy to string. Good power. It needs to be strung at a high tension of 56/55 pounds.Otherwise it feels a tad uncontrolled when really going for the shots. Then it's a bit hard to control big strokes. Not the standard poly-feel. The feel of a hybrid string. Softer and more arm-friendly than a Luxilon BB Ace or a Solinco Tour Bite. Offers more power but offers less control and a bit less of spin (spin is ok) if strung at the same tension than a BB Ace or a Solinco TB. Great as hybrid with Solinco Tour Bite or BB Ace.

Comments: These are the best suited strings for my Dunlop F2.0 Tour so far (18x20 string pattern). Great job from Isospeed! I was told they cooperated with an Austrian ski company and were using new materials in order to develop V18. Superb strings in my opinion. I strung it at 58/55 lbs and I'm a 5.0+ level player.

Comments: One of the best strings I (5.0+ player) have used and can tell you I went through many brands. V18 has been strung at 22/21 kgs on my Volkl PB10 Mid 16x19 and it performs great in all criterias (controll, power, spin and touch). I play around 4 hours/week and it lasts already 3 weeks and this string does not loose its effect. Thanks TW for the best price!
