Overview

Introducing Kirschbaum Flash, a comfortably firm co-poly that delivers surgical targeting on full swings. With its predictable response, this co-poly will enable you to take massive cuts at the ball when going for extra power and spin. The fact that it has above average comfort for a poly-based monofilament is a nice bonus. At under $9.00, Flash is an outstanding value.

Broke it twice during stringingThis is just my experience. I strung the yellow version of Flash 1.25 for my kid at 52 pounds and broke it twice during stringing. I didn't dare to stretch it too much after that but then the string lost tension very fast after three hours of training. Admittedly, I'm an amateur stringer, but the only other string that I broke was Dunlop Explosive Tour 17 (once out of four tries). I will stick to Volkl Cyclone 17.

One of the best soft polys you can getFormer college player and still a competitive doubles specialist here. I oscillate between a 4.5/5.0. I play with all the "soft" polys: Yonex Poly Tour Pro, Head Lynx and Flash. Flash is my favorite. Just for the crisp consistent feel and it is very comfortable on the arm as well as good spin and control while not feeling harsh. It does lose its tension a little but not as bad as PTP. I have played with all the colors and yellow is by far the best; the lighter colors definitely play more lively. It just has the sweet feel when it is freshly strung that I just don't feel with the others, a bit hard to explain. Let's not forget to mention the string is dirt cheap for the quality you get. Hard to go wrong.

A firmer polyPurchased this for a 4.5 male who was looking for a firmer optic green poly.

Solid string, solid price, cool colorAs the title indicates, this is a very good string overall, and an excellent string for the price. The color choices, especially the hot pink, are really attracted to juniors.

Great string at a great priceLove this poly, it is my go to. I am a solid doubles player who is a former teaching pro and stringer. Contrary to other reviews I have no problem creating string. The fact they pre-stretch their poly means very little break in needed and holds tension very well. I would recommend going with the yellow as it seems to be the best one.

Great over allGreat overall feel and definitely great value. I use a hybrid and can definitely say it has a nice crisp feel and is a perfect fit for my style of play. Highly recommend.

Good power but no spinI'll start with the positives. The string was very comfortable from the first play. I had great power on my serve as well. The big negative for me was I had next to no spin on my forehand no matter how much topspin I tried to generate. After a few sessions, I switched back to a different racquet with some old Luxilon and hit the ball with much better spin. I think the string is fine for the right person but for a heavy topspin guy like myself it's not for me.

Comments: Had these strings in my racquet for about two to three weeks and here are my thoughts. The strings have very little break-in period, good ball pocketing and soft. Spin potential was good and I had this strung up in my Prince Beast 98 at 54 pounds. This string plays very similar to Yonex Poly Tour Pro yellow. Overall a great string for the price that lasts about two to three weeks, I am playing three times a week.
