Overview

This textured co-poly offers maximum control on full swings. It will give hitters the confidence to swing bigger when creating pace. The textured surface puts a tight grip on the ball for added spin. Great as a full set or in a hybrid.

Kirschbaum pre-stretches this string in order to improve tension maintenance and playability duration.

Great control stringGreat control strings that lets you go for big shots from the baseline. Decent pop when paired with racquet like the 2023 Vcore 98. Can lower the tension and still maintain the control with added power. Average durability.

Update on Tennis Elbow ReviewI have not touched a full bed of this stuff since getting tennis elbow for the first time in my life using it. Honestly, I think using too small of a grip and other technique factors built up the perfect opportunity for TE with this string. I have since used it as a cross with Kirschbaum Multifibre in a 1986 Prince Graphite Pro 90 and it works and feels great; albeit is an incredibly flexible and stable racquet compared to the Warrior 100. Definitely recommend it as a cost effective cross. Do not recommend in full bed unless you are highly conditioned. It should come with a full bed warning label. LOL

Tennis elbow Got tennis elbow after an hour of playing with this in a Prince Textreme Warrior at 47 lbs. Pretty good spin but didn't enjoy the feel. I can play with Lynx Tour at 52 for hours without problems. Definitely avoid unless you have bulletproof and highly conditioned elbows.

Comments: I have now been using this, also in 17 gauge, for nearly a year on a Head Radical 110 square inch. Great feel, you really feel that the strings grab the ball. Excellent spin and fair to higher power. Been totally transformative for me.

Comments: I have these on two racquets, but recently on my Prince EXO strung at 60 pounds. This string had great control, average power and spin. It seemed to play better as they settled. Most importantly, they didn't bother my arm at that tension.

Comments: I was very impressed with my first outing with this string. I have two Wilson 100LS version 2.0 strung at 45 pounds. I did not notice any real difference in spin with my forehand strokes but I could tell a definite difference in the backhand slice. My serves tended to spin a little more as well. I have full beds on both racquets. I intend to purchase more at the discounted price right now.

Comments: In the 20 years I've played, this is the best string I have ever used. This string provides very strong spin, and never lets you down. It feels soft and comfortable plus has good power. It seems to last longer than other 18 gauge strings.

Comments: Put this in a Babolat AeroPro Drive strung at 50 lbs. Love the huge topspin and control. So far durability is good, I'm a 5.0+ player and this string will allow you to hit out with relative preciseness. Good feel for droppers too because it really grips the ball.

Comments: The Kirschbaum Max Power Rough 18 as a main with a multifilament cross provides such a nice plush feel with decent spin on every shot. I'd highly recommend this as a cost-effective but high quality co-poly for any hybrid string job with multifilament or gut. Durability after 40 hours of play is substantial. Strung at 48 lbs with a multi cross at 50 lbs on a Wilson BLX Tour 90. I'm a 4.5 player.
