Overview

Luxilon adds a rough texture to their Element co-poly string! The result is some added bite and extra spin-potential. This string also features Multi-Mono Technology, making it one of the most comfortable Luxilon monofilaments. All in all, Element Rough is a great option for players who like attacking the ball with long, fast strokes.  Dare we say that it is the missing element to your game?

Comments: This is one of my favorite strings when freshly strung. You can feel it grip the ball, the comfort is similar to some firmer multifilaments I've tried, and I couldn't hit out with this string. Unfortunately, as mentioned everywhere, tension drops a lot very quickly. The first six hours felt great, but after that, it got noticeably bouncier, I was playing outside only during a season when temperatures were 50 degrees Fahrenheit or below I might add, fall to winter. You do get some nice ball pocketing as tension drops and it takes a long time for the string to start feeling dead, maybe a plus for casual recreational players who only change strings a few times a year.

Comments: Interesting string that has good power, good spin, great on comfort and softness on touch, but interesting in the fact that it loses tension when playing in heated conditions. I played indoors with this string and it maintains tension, but when you are outside and it is hot, it will really loosen up. I love the string when indoors, everything one would want, but if you are in areas of the country where it is hot, I suggest increasing the tension to make up for the string loosening up.

Comments: Great string, excellent spin potential and power. Control is great as well. String is not too stiff and feels good, not too different from ALU Rough. Tension does drop quite a lot, worse than ALU Rough.

Comments: This is an okay string. Comfort and spin are there but there are better options for the price. If you can afford to change your strings every 2-3 hours go for this string.
