The best green dot ballsThese are perfect for my ten year old. They are great for those still trying to develop proper technique (even adults). We’ve tried the Wilson green dot balls, but we prefer Penn as they seem to have a little more bounce. The price is better here than anywhere else.

Great price - Great deliveryDifficult item to purchase from Big 5 or other online stores. Inventory is very limited and prices are not competitive. Tennis Warehouse has great deals and keeps me informed about delivery status.

Comments: I have recommended this Penn Control Plus Green Dot ball to parents of juniors I have been training that are transitioning from the 60 ft ball to the 78 ft ball. The Penn Control Plus is a great ball, I assume is a pressureless construction. I found the Wilson Green Dot balls do go flat after a few months, so they must be pressurized since they are also packed in cans.

Comments: We had been using Penn Green Dot for over more than a year for my kids aged 11 and 9. We tried other Green Dot Balls as well, but they liked Penn Green Dot. Penn Green Dot bounces a little higher when dropping from the same height compared to other balls. Last month, I purchased a 72 ball case from Tennis Warehouse, as the price is a better compared to three packs and twelve pack that we had been buying. However, the package has problems. The balls are tightly packed into the case. There is no space, nor cushion. Most of these new balls are really poor quality as they have only a 40-45% bounce compared to regular balls and had been loosing the bounce with just few hits. The previous set of balls lasted months while these are not even lasting one to two days. Overall, really disappointed at the quality of these balls and would not recommend buying in bulk packet.

Comments: We like these balls very much. We bought them to use in instructing our children (ages 9-13). They have just the right amount of liveliness; it does feel like they are about 30% lessbouncy than regular balls. We have tried out three other ball types. The Penn qst 36 was way too soft and sluggish for us; the Penn qst 60 was better, but still too dead for us; the Tretorn Micro X was a little like hitting a brick and with too much bounce. We liked the feel of the Penn Control immediately. They are great for the children learning to hit and even for my wife and I rallying.
