Best tennis shoe I have wornJust as the title says, this is the best shoe I have ever worn. Usually when I finish a match, my plantar fasciitis acts up. When I finish a match in these shoes, I don't find myself limping afterwards. If I ever need new shoes I will be looking at these again.

T22 keeps on truckingI have worn the T22's for many years. Prince has done a great job keeping this shoe updated with all the new materials and design features. Little time to break in and very responsive.
Staple in my tennis wardrobeAthletic 4.0 rec player and have been playing with this shoe for years. I’m on my 3rd pair. Lite, comfortable plenty of cushioning, no break in, stable and supportive. I currently have 5 different brands of tennis shoes that I play with and these are my first choice for comfort and performance. My feet don’t feel tired after 1.5 hours of play in these. I do get a 1/2 size up on this shoe. Only drawback I’ve found is that because of the softer lighter materials (there is no plastic caging or panels up top) they do experience a bit more wear and tear but I am a back foot dragged on clay and hard courts under aggressive play.

Brian GrayExcellent shoe for a great price. I'm a 3.5 level club player that uses them on Har Tru courts...light and grips the courts, but still able to slide well...true sizing.
True Fit/No Break in TimeI play on cement courts for paddleball and one wall racquetball. These shoes have little to no break in time roomy toe box, light weight, great for stop and go and lateral movement. Comfortable and airy, no sweat built up. Re-adjust the factory lacing to fit your feet.
OuchI have an average width foot. As soon as I put on the shoe, I could feel the plastic on the upper pressing against my foot on both sides. I put the shoes back in the box because this would never work for me.
UncomfortableThe T22 lite is very tight and uncomfortable on little toe. Went one size up and still too tight. The regular T22 has better toe room one size up.
Solid Shoe, tried and trueAlways stable, never rolled an ankle. I suggest using insoles or orthotics...actually with any shoe. Soles last a long time and they look good. Tired of plain looking shoes.
A long time favorite for us old folks.As mentioned, am old with questionable knees. I have tried other shoes, but I always return to Prince T-series. Comfort is #1!

Comments: I recently tried the T22 Lite since I couldn't find my size in the T22. It's a winner! Prior to the T22, I had all kinds of foot issues and now it seems like the T22 Lite is just as good with the added benefit of being lighter. Hopefully, they'll continue making it and make the black and green version available.

Comments: My experience is quite different from other reviewers. These T22 Lites are the best ones yet for me. The T22 was cloddy, heavy, and cumbersome. The 22.5 was an improvement, but did not breathe well. The T22 Lite's are an improvement. They breathe better, are a little lighter, and have excellent support. I always remove the inserts for tennis shoes and put in my Super Feet insoles.

Comments: T22 in name only. First impressions is they fit well and as others have noted they are not as wide in the forefoot, which isn't a deal breaker, but if you bought them thinking they would have the same profile as the T22, just lighter, you will be unpleasantly surprised. I tried them and found them harsh on the foot, until I replaced the insoles with ones from my worn-out T22s. Such a little thing, but the original T22 insole is the real deal while the Lite is a cheap flimsy piece of foam. With the new insoles the shoes are better in terms of comfort and shock absorption, but I have issues with the durability of the uppers, within a few weeks they started separating right where the front rubber meets the upper. I got two pairs on sale and sadly would have been better off with one set of the real T22 shoes.

Comments: Bad choice buying these shoes. Shoes are falling apart after the first try. The plastic straps on the sides tore and the outsole is separating. I am not sure if these defects are covered by the 6 month warranty.

Comments: I tried this shoe because of the great reviews on social media. However, this shoe has very little support and has "toe drag" issues (I like to touch it up with a permanent marker after every game). Also, the sole is separating from the upper after about 15 matches. I'm honestly disappointed with this prince product... I'm a 4.0 pickleball player and I'm 55.

Comments: My T22 Lites are comfortable and seem supportive enough, it's hard to compare to others since these are my only current tennis shoes. My reason for writing is my experience with the disappointing durability of the sole. I made it past the 6-month durability guarantee, but only barely and this is a full wear-through to the foam. I'm 51, a high-ish 3.5, and play no more than a couple of times a week.

Comments: I really like these shoes. I wanted a shoe with great cushioning, comfort, and ventilation, and this one delivers. Traction is also good. It's mostly mesh, so the sides give a lot on hard stops, but I never felt like I was going to roll over. I'm very happy with them.

Comments: Tried out the Lite version of T22 and have to say I like them better than the regular T22. I do think they are lighter and more responsive. I am 60+ years old and need something to up my game against club players that play 4+ days a week. I love the Prince line of men's shoes! They run small, I regularly wear 8.5 or 42's, but have to wear size 10 in the Prince line.

Comments: I've tried a number of the low to the ground shoes from Asics, Babolat and Adidas the past few years. I have flat feet and they all have given me issues with support in the front foot. The T22 Lites are the 1st model in a long while that provide the cushioning I need. Exellent stability and firm fit; and no pain along the bottom of my feet. Highly recommend this shoe for those needing and extra cushy ride. I'm a 4.5 tournament and league player who plays 3-4 times a week.

Comments: I am using this shoe for pickleball and find it gives good lateral suppport and wear on the hard surfaces. Would like to see height of shoe increased to give ankle area some additional support with lateral motion. The shoe breathes well and weight is reasonable.

Comments: I found that the new T22 Lites to be tight around the toes and less supportive than the older T22. They are a little lighter but the trade-off is not worth it for me. I found that the reason they are less supportive is the new insole is much less comfortable and cheaper quality than the older ones. When I removed the insole and put the insole from the older T22 , that helped. Anyway, I hope Prince continues to keep the older T22 model because I prefer that one much more than the new model.

Comments: The T22 Lite is a solid shoe in my opinion. I have been playing tennis for over 35 years and have worn models from just about every tennis shoe company in the world. These shoes are a good investment. The T22 Lite shoe is a highly supportive and sturdy shoe. The shoes are slightly heavy, but they are not overly heavy. The T22 Lite model has sufficient area in all parts of the shoe for me. I will buy another pair when my current pair wears out. My current pair shows little wear after twenty plus tennis outings.

Comments: I've been a longtime T22 fan and rotate between three pairs. The Lite just didn't work for me. Not enough room in the toe box -- they felt too tight. Another minor issue, I have a high instep and the combination of trying to keep them loose in the toe box and the high instep made the shoelaces too short. Returned the Lite and ordered the old reliable T22.

Comments: I switched to the T22 Lite from the regular T22. The new shoe brings the same narrow heel cup for stability, but a little more room in the front. Light and agile with a good grip on hard courts, they have held up for over 6 months of 3-4 times a week play. I'll be buying them again.

Comments: The Prince T22 Lite is a great shoe. It is now my shoe of choice over the Nike Vapor. It is more comfortable and the tread seems to be holding up better. How can you go wrong with the 6 month warranty. The shoe is very roomy, but my feet do not slide inside the shoe. Great for all hard court surfaces.

Comments: As a "senior" 4.0 Hartru player, foot comfort became precious when playing 5-6 times a week. The original Prince T22s were a bit too wide and clunky in the forefoot but oh how comfortable and had been my shoe of choice. Until the T22 Lite came out. The fit definitely is narrower in the forefoot, not a "narrow" shoe just normal width now. The sole is the same wonderful cushioning I need but the uppers are lighter, more conforming and flexible yet actually feel more supportive. The only slight negative is to lose some weight Prince replaced the thicker very cushioning insole with a much thinner and lighter one. A separate purchase of a Sofsole Athlete insert (about $18) to replace the new thin ones and it is now the perfect shoe. Just as cushioning but lighter and much better feeling overall. No wonder it was one of Tennis Magazine's best for 2016.

Comments: I have a medium width foot with a somewhat narrow heel. This shoe has good cushioning and the uppers are nice and thick, so it is very comfortable. It is a wide and roomy shoe though. I feel like my foot moves quite a bit from side to side within the shoe no matter how I lace it. It has a sticky outsole plus slipping within the shoe has meant that I have semi-tripped or lost my footing a couple of times. But a great value cushioned shoe for anyone with a wider and thicker foot.

Comments: I recently purchased the T22 Lite, switching away from the Asics Gel Resolution (I had the GR 5). This shoe is very comfortable, stable with great support, terrific grip, and cushioned in the right places. I did not feel as though I was being slowed down by the shoe. The shoe just seems to have more to it than the Asics, which for me, works. They have a good arch support compared to other tennis shoes which I have worn. I am a 5.0 player with an all court game and movement is critical for me. These shoes do not hamper my movement at all.

Comments: I actually like these a lot. I'm also coming from regular T22 and T10 before that. These do not feel as wide as the original T22 (wider versions). They feel a bit more like the T22 narrower version. Still, this shoe being much softer in the uppers, even in slightly narrower fit seems to be very comfortable on my feet. This became even more apparent after few hours of use, so slight break in is needed if you find them feeling a bit tighter than regular T22. I would say I do not have very wide feet, medium I suppose, but I did like the roominess of regular T22s, and these shoes are nowhere near as narrow as something like Barricades for example. I also wore the Babolat SFX -- a very nice comparable shoe to T22 Lite, also tried the KSwiss Bigshot 2.5 light, Didadora Speed V, and recently Asics GR6. GR6 has very nice uppers feel, but for my feet I think the T22 is best shoe to practice with, and the T22 lite is better if you want similar fit, comfort and stability but in bit lighter and faster form, ie. singles game day.

Comments: I used to love the T9 Roadster and Prince replaced it with the T22. I had the old T22 that fit wide and later on they felt narrow. So I tried these and fit me well, plus no pinching on the side due to the plastic like the T22. Try it first -- you might like them. I tried a lot of shoes and these are not as soft as Asics Resolutions but are more stable and better for people with ankle problems like me.

Comments: My normal shoe is the T22 Black which I love because it's very comfortable and fits wide-ish, not a 'pointed' type shoe like Nike, etc. I tried a pair of these T22 Lites on and they feel very lightweight, but, they're almost, but not as comfortable as the normal T22s. The big thing is that they didn't initially feel as wide as the regular T22. This being moot for those with narrower feet, but If you like them for the reason I do (being wider), then they will not have quite the same comfort levels! Also the insoles aren't as spongey. A good solid shoe, but they just don't seem to fit as wide? One last thought -- they may break-in and fit wider and softer after a few weeks and may become better than the original T22.
