Overview
Prince Vortex is a spin machine designed for players with long, fast strokes. With its predictable response, it will enable you to attack the ball with your most powerful strokes. Vortex comes with a shaped hexagonal profile, giving it plenty of grip for easier access to spin. Although it has a firm monofilament construction, Prince has manufactured Vortex with softening agents to boost elasticity. As a result, the comfort level is above average for a poly-based string. At $8 a set, this is one of the best value polys available. The great feel is a nice bonus. (Did we mention the spin?)

Nice stringsAside from the color, these strings are very nice. I had my new Head Boom Team L racquets strung with them and the transition to the new racquets is quite easy and comfortable. I get more spin and more power (not sure if it's the racquet or the strings), but I'm enjoying how effortlessly I can play now. It feels so easy to achieve great depth with my groundstrokes.
Nice string, great priceI like the feel with it strung at 55 lbs. Would recommend. I'm not noticing incredible spin but good control and decent power.

Comments: String was fine. Average spin, tension maintenance, and power. For the price, not a bad deal. I'm going back to my Volkl Cyclone though. For the price, in my opinion it is a better buy.
