Nice for spin but don't string too tightI enjoyed this very inexpensive string. I'm hitting with an old Wilson Pro Staff 6.0, and an old aluminum Prince oversize, both strung at 72lbs. I hit hard and these strings broke recently after about 11 sessions. I'm still hitting with the Wilson racquet using the same strings. For the price I'm happy with the response and spin ability. I have purchased more of these strings but will string at a lower tension.

Comments: Contrary to popular belief, this triangle shaped string worked amazing as the cross string in my natural gut hybrid in my Prince Phantom 93P 14x18. Being such an open stringbed with only 14 mains I wasn't worried about a smooth round cross string as most recommend. The spacing is far enough apart from each other that the natural twist caused by a triangle string in the cross doesn't prevent the sliding of the mains during impact, and this is a very slick string, if anything it helps with control. The triangle crosses really gripped the ball on my serves and volleys when the crosses share more of the work than on a typical topspin groundstroke. I was hesitant at first with this string since the regular Vortex has such a huge tension loss. I usually go with great tension maintenance strings like Tourna Big Hitter Tour 7 or Hyper-G but I wanted to experiment with a triangle string and I'm glad I did. Since I like to string tight with my hybrid set up at 65 pounds the softness of this string worked out real well. I felt more feel than with other firmer polyester strings I've used and after a week of play the tension is holding up well. This is going to be my new set up as I feel it gives me the best control and spin with great feel I've ever had. I'm even thinking of trying it at 68 pounds tension. Great job Prince.
