Remaining true to the previous generation of Inviktas, Selkirk uses their 16mm. X5 Polyprolyene core, which is a bi-directional cross-weave carbon fiber honeycomb core that affords a large sweet spot, and incredible feel. EdgeSentry edge guard provides security against abrasions and scratches during intense match play, with Selkirk's Geo Grip ensuring long term comfort and sweat absorption. The mid-weight example features more mass based power than the lightweight model, which offers a higher degree of maneuverability, benefiting touch shots like blocking, re-sets, and 3rd shot drops  Overall, the Vanguard 2.0 Invikta is an excellent update an already proven design that manages to improve the paddle while maintaining the feel and performance that player's have come to love.
