Aggressive players - meet your new paddle

The good folks at Selkirk have tirelessly evolved the Invikta family of paddles, bringing to market tip-of-the-spear performance, and tour level performance with the Selkirk Air Invikta! The open Air Dynamic Throat, affords great paddle stability, in a static or dynamic position, and also allows the player to benefit from more paddle weight, due to the air flow making the Power Air Invkta easier to accelerate. A lively 13mm. SuperCore Polymer core is inserted between Selkirk's long lasting QuadFlex 4 Layer surface material (2 layers of Fiberglass and 2 layers of Quantum + carbon), and when combined produces game elevating levels of spin, along with realistic power. In addition the FlexFoam located around the perimeter of the paddle face, and Aero-Dura Edge Edgeless Technology adds weight provides a huge sweet spot, and dampens vibration, while increasing the Air Invikta's stability. Selkirk's standard 4.25 in. grip complements most hand sizes, and its 5.25 in. handle length, wrapped in a comfort oriented Geo Grip leaves room for the two handed shot approach, making the Power Air Invikta a versatile weapon for any play style or skill level.

Rated high, but not for meGreat paddle if you want or need more power. If you are looking for touch and to generate your own power, there are better paddles. I used it because so many pro's use it, and you can understand how it can benefit a high-level player with the swing speed and power, but you need to be at least a 4.5 or 5.0 player to wield this paddle successfully.

#1 Paddle on the MarketI had played with Hyperion 16 for over a year but recently switched to the Vanguard Air. This paddle has superior spin with the pop I was missing. I've tested several paddles and the Vanguard Air is the one paddle that offers it all.

I enjoy playing with this paddle!Bring new to pickleball i was trying to navigate which paddle would conform best to my style of play. As a former tennis, ping pong, racquetball, player I tried a few different styles and all were pretty decent. I read a review about this paddle and how it’s a good match for former tennis players. I gave it a try and really liked the feel and performance of this paddle. After 2 weeks of playing with it I knew I found my first paddle. The paddle does help with control and as a player that likes to utilize spin this paddle grips the ball well and provides the touch I need. I still have a long way to go with my Pickleball journey, but I’ve been very happy with this paddle and the transaction with Total Pickleball has been seamless. Being able to test a paddle out with a no questions ask return policy gave me the confidence to order.

Bel Kirk Air paddleGreat paddle for a power paddle. I decided I needed more control and switched it for a Ben Joola which I really happy about. But Total Pickleball exchanged it no questions and I had my new paddle in 5 days. Great company and service.

My Thoughts on Selkirk InviktaI'm a DUPR 4.5+ with a 60/40 drive to dink player. I LOVE this paddle; except on windy days. I hate the sweet spot size, but don't miss hit too often. My hand-speed increased by 25% using this paddle, which has paid-off in kitchen battles. I have/use Diadem Warrior & Edge paddles and the Selkirk Invikta. During play, I start with Invikta. If wind speed is too much, I switch to Diadem Edge for lots of control but little power. If I'm using Selkirk and unable to put away shots against advanced players, I'll switch to Diadem Warrior. Almost no one can defend against my put-away with Warrior. However, with the Warrior, I lose kitchen hand-speed and control. Overall, the Selkirk Invikta can be SO much fun to play with and can really improve/increase your game with both power and control. I only wish it did a little better on windy days. However, that's why I have/use three paddles. All for minor changes I may need to make in my game. If I could find a paddle that combines my Diadem Warrior and Selkirk Invikta into one paddle, I'd definitely give it a go. Since trying the Invikta, it's my go to paddle and I will definitely buy it again if mine breaks.

Very Impressed!I was a little skeptical about this paddle but after seeing very positive reviews I thought I'd give it a try. This paddle is very impressive. The sweet spot is huge! It felt like I never missed hit the ball. The power is incredible. Don't need to do much to generate a good amount of power. Just to tone down the power I added lead tape to throat of paddle to add some control. It worked great. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this paddle.

Best paddle everSo yesterday my buddy let me try his Power Air and I was blown away- it was a better version of the 002 to me and btw I used the Invikta shape and this paddle has a lot of control to it for being a power paddle, but 10 out of 10 from me. I'm a 4.5 player and I was making 4.5s miss my serve.
