other reviews spot on about tension lossExcellent string, but the string does not hold tension well. I got one great match (2 long sets) out of the string, and the next match 2 weeks later, I noticed a significant loss in tension. Every poly strings I've tried lose tension, but this string is particularly noticeable in terms of how fast and how much tension it lost.

Solinco Confidential ReviewWell with how much TW says Solinco is such a great string brand I had to find out myself what the hype was all about. I didn't want to try Hyper G because I think the green string option is ugly. So for the first three days of hitting (I'm a high school tennis assistant coach), the strings were heavenly. After about two weeks the drop in tension is severely significant. now I did have a fellow college mate string this in my Head Boom Pro, and I think he may have done a lesser quality job than what I'm used to. So I think that might also be to blame for my experience with the string. However, now even when I hit the sweet spot the strings sound they're cracking instead of that nice pop sound players are used to hearing. The spin potential on these strings is amazing. It was just the tension loss and stiffness that made the experience a little cumbersome. I think if I had this string strung by a more veteran stringer I would still be having. Good experience with this string. So I might follow up this review but for now, it's a great string for the first week or so, maybe go up a bit in tension to compensate for the loss later.

Great stringReally liked this string. I strung my Yonex VCORE Pro at 52 pounds. Really enjoyed the amazing spin potential. Nice and crisp at the beginning. I hit with a lot of spin and got about 8 hitting sessions before noticing a drop in tension.

Comments: Confidential is a solid string, but not as good as Tour Bite in my opinion. Spin is similar, but tension maintenance wasn't as good as Tour Bite and the feel wasn't as crisp. I usually get two to three weeks out of Tour Bite and these only lasted half as long for me.

Comments: I usually string a Pure Drive Plus with Hyper-G 16 gauge. Comparing Confidential 16 gauge directly to Hyper-G, a few things stand out. Confidential feels less stiff and plasticky when stringing it up. For unclear reasons, the edges do not feel as pronounced when stringing compared to Hyper-G, making it slightly easier to weave the crosses. Sound and ping off the stringbed is a tad muted compared to Hyper-G. Spin potential feels roughly the same. Some folks say more, some say less. Power and control is perhaps a bit better compared to Hyper-G. Mishits feel a little less brassy. Tension maintenance is worse, and subjectively the stringbed starts to feel, springy by the two hour mark. Takes a while longer for Hyper-G to feel that way

Comments: Amazing string! I loved the bite, control, and feel I got from these strings. If there is one thing that I wish could improve, it would be the tension maintenance. I felt that the tension was lost fairly quickly. I do have a spin-heavy game so that could also contribute to the increased loss of tension. If you are stringing with an 18x20 racquet, you will need 21 feet and two to three more inches for the mains.
