It has become the gold standardOverall, Hyper G has become the gold standard for polyester string setups. If you are not a big string breaker, the thinner gauges will last you until the goes completely dead and needs to be cut out. The thinner gauges give you a little bit more bite on the ball overall.

Comments: This string plays great at 45 pounds on the mains with Hyper-G 20 gauge on the crosses at 41 pounds on the Yonex EZONE 98 16x19. This is my first experiment using thinner co-polyester gauges at lowest tension. I thought most of my balls will be launching long, but majorities landed three to five inches from the baseline. I generated more topspin than thicker gauges, but to my surprise more power was generated. Short swing for inside-out shots and angle shots are controllable. Two and half hours of hitting, there was some tension drop, but it is still controllable. I will play with this same racquet again in the next few days to see how long the strings will hold up.

Comments: This string plays great for the first hour. Good spin and control, but the balls start launching thereafter. It is good if you have a stringer at home or can afford to restring almost every time you play. Otherwise I would recommend sticking with a thicker gauge.
