Fast and Precise

Introducing the Whiteout 290! Like the Whiteout 305, this stick combines a classic 21.7mm box beam with a surgical 98 square inch head and a spin-friendly 16x19 string pattern. On the court, it delivers great control and feel while still packing enough pop for finishing points. At 10.7 ounces strung and boasting a sub-315 swingweight the Whiteout 290 is great for the intermediate player who wants a maneuverable racquet with controllable power. Technologies include 40T Carbon Fiber at 3/9 o'clock, resulting in a larger sweetspot along with a more stable feel on off-center impact. In addition to 21.7mm flat beam, Solinco adds Liquid Crystal Technology to the layup in order to reduce hash vibrations and lighten the load on your tendons. The Whiteout 305 also benefits from Foam Technology in the head, giving it a more solid, dampened and stable feel. Ultimately, the Whiteout 290 is a great option for rising intermediate players who want a speedy racquet that can hit every shot in the book.

This racquet's weight and balance can be modified using Solinco's weight control modules (interchangeable butt-cap plates that enable you to add 5 or 10 grams to stock weight) - sold separately

Versatile frame for creative playerHey there, I'm coming at the end of my journey. Have been trying like 200 frames in five years, I'm a so called racquetoholic. I put on this one the five gram buttcap and Signum Pro Plasma pure 1.18 (17) at 21-23 kilograms. This frame is a hidden gem. It's a 67 RA that feels like a 62 with amazing dampening thanks to the foam in the handle, it feels like the 300 RS from Tecnifibre. No dampener required! But unlike many other 290 gram frames (Vcore 98L, Ezone 98L, Speed Team, Vcore 100L...) it hits the ball with pace and it's easy to become a creative player. Defensive shots are a dream. For some secret reason I can put surprising velocity in my ball and despite a low weight / SW (316), it's so stable and I can play against strong hitters. This frame is the one to offer me the most offensive and defensive solutions. Backspin shifts are very easy and precise, I can put as much spin as with my Speed MP Auxetic, and more than with my Extreme Tour! Cosmetic is great. Absolutely no pain without dampener! Quality control is way better.

Great Unestablished RacquetTried a friend's and didn't expect much, but this is honestly one of my favorite racquets I've used. It has great feel and seems very forgiving. I ended up buying one and love it. I know Solinco is not established in the racquet market, but if you are interested in it I would highly recommend it.

Solinco White Out 290What a great job Solinco did with this racquet! The string tension I used is 53 lbs with a soft poly. I'm a 4.5+ player. It was fun hitting with this racquet, groundstrokes and volleys did well with this right out of the box. There is room to customize, too, if need to. I give this racquet 4.5 stars.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Godsend should be the first adjective in describing this incredible racquet. I'm an older coach (56) that still hits with my 4.5 - 5.5 students, and I'm a wreck after 9 hours straight in coaching. After getting used to this racquet, I'm very happy to report back that I'm very pain-free after two straight days of coaching 9 hours Saturday and 8 hours Sunday. I did use a Road to Pro Dampener on the string beds; however, it's a combination of the racquet, strings and dampener. Thank you, Solinco. Gosh, what a great product you offer. First strings, then racquet. I can't wait for your future.
