Overview

Revolve Spin is a shaped variation of Wilson’s Revolve co-poly. With its low powered response, this string will keep your biggest swings inside the lines. Not only does Revolve Spin have 5 sharp edges for grabbing hold of the ball it is made with a special low-friction UHMW material, allowing the strings to snap the ball off the strings with extra force (see big spin). This is a very solid option for intermediate and advanced players looking to attack the ball. Did we mention the spin?

This gauge is slightly thicker than the 17g version for added durability and directional control.

  • Gauge: 16/1.30mm
  • Length: 40ft/12.2mm
  • Composition: Co-polyester (Crosslink Ester Polymer w/low-friction UHMW material)
  • Color: Green, Black

Comments: I love this string a lot on my Ezone Dr 100. Most of the strings I tried seemed to be little too powerful on my racquet like RPM Blast, Volkl Cyclone but this string along with Solinco Hyper-G gave me the control I was looking for. I felt this string to be little less powerful than Hyper-G too and I string it at 55 with 10% pre-stretch and with this low-powered spin friendly string, I can totally rip the ball as I like without having the fear of hitting it out.

Comments: I'm able to hit all the shots. Can control the pace of the ball really well. Had to string at 45 lbs. First strung at 51, then 54, which was too tight (no power). Not springy like many other poly strings when the tension is low. Also, seems to hold tension well. My racquet is a Wilson Blx Six.One 95 16X18 2012 model. Great control. Really works well for my serve. I can hit flat and topspin shots.

Comments: Not a fan. I loved the Revolve string and thought this string would add a bit more bite on the ball. Instead it's just another super dead shaped poly. I'm going back to stick with the non-shaped Revolve.

Comments: Played with the original Revolve, and really liked it, but felt it was 'missing' something. Behold Revolve Spin. A direct competitor to Solinco Hyper G, this one comes with pretty much the same layup: shaped edges, green hue, and a slick coating. It all adds up to one heck of a combo. Much better feel than the original Revolve -- better pocketing and a 'crisper' feel, not as springy -- and it's super comfortable for a co-poly, zero arm issues (and I have tendinitis in my left wrist and right hand, so if the string is too firm I can't hit it. I was playing with soft multis and switched to this easily, that's how comfortable it is). I play with the new Yonex DR 98, and the combo is lethal spin, lethal control, and power reserves for days. I can hit shots that curve into the lines for days. It's unreal. Not too powerful so you can really rip it. I strung it at 48 lbs and that seems to be a really nice tension with great pocketing. Durability is solid as well, got about 8 hours out of it compared to 2-3 for a multi (I play with big spin so 8 hours is a lot for me). Try it, solid game changer.
