Wilson Revolve Twist 16/1.30 String Set
5.0
Overview
With Revolve Twist, Wilson delivers an impressive combination of spin, control and durability to players with long, fast strokes. Built from a firm co-polymer material, this string is designed to give aggressive players the needed control to execute their most powerful strokes. In addition to featuring three ridges, this string is twisted for maximum bite on the ball (think spin). It also has a slippery, low-friction surface, enabling the strings to snap back with extra force (think BIG spin). Intermediate and advanced players looking for a durable co-polyester with easy access to spin should love this one.
- Gauge: 16/1.30mm
- Length: 40ft/12.2m
- Composition: Co-polyester Monofilament (twisted w/three ridges)
- Color: Grey, Red
Customer Reviews
Great stringI love how this is a rough string because it grips the ball really well upon contact. I agree is also a little rough to string but I use it a lot and I love how it feels. Personally I always restring after I play my third day. Strung at 48 pounds of tension on a Head Graphene Prestige MP.
Tennis stringsGreat quality product which arrived super fast. Very easy purchase. Thank you

Comments: I tried the 17 gauge Revolve Twist, but could not tell the difference between it and the older Revolve Spin 17 gauge except Twist was extremely difficult to string since it kept on coiling on itself. I would recommend 17 gauge Spin instead.

Comments: Very, very happy with this string. I've strung it with my Clash in a full bed (53 lbs) and hybrid (with vs gut @ 53/54) and it's not very often that I can say a full bed of poly plays better than a hybrid set up with VS Gut, but this one has. The feel, spin and controllable power with these strings are amazing and allow you to take big cuts without overhitting. I also strung my Prestige Pro with a full bed (50 lbs) to make sure it wasn't just the new racquet and I might have not bought the Clash if I had this string last month. It does generate power on the higher scale of polys, so if you have a slower swing and can't yet generate your own pace, I could see hitting long being an issue. Overall this is a great string and I'm a string data fanatic who has tried almost everything on the market. Give it a try and string it 2-3 pounds higher than your normal poly. I play 4+ times per week at a 5.0+ competitive level.
