Comments: These are light and comfortable shoes with no break-in time required. The tradeoff is that the rims and the sides tear off too quickly, after a few weeks and the outsole wears out after a couple of months of play and gets worse as you play more. When the outsole wears off, you can feel it from the pain in your feet after an hour of playing. Don't be fooled by the adidas six month outsole warranty though. When the last one I bought wore out in the soles before the sixth month, I thought I use the warranty and contacted adidas, as was in the instructions. The adidas customer service apparently had no idea! She talked twice to her supervisors and then said no such warranty exists! She conveniently referred me to the shop I bought the shoes from for the warranty, even though I gave her the link to see that the warranty claim was made by adidas, not Tennis Warehouse! That is a true shame for adidas and it will not win them more customers for sure! I called Tennis Warehouse to let them know what adidas is doing. The gentleman answering the phone was nice enough to hear me and even nicer to honor the warranty, although they don't have to. I was an adidas customer since 2015, but now will switch back to Nike!

Comments: I have had a couple pairs of these shoes in the gray and lime, I loved them. However these white and blue ones do not feel the same and I feel sticker on the court when I wear them. I do not like them. When I wear them, I start having issues with my knee. I don't know why the color would make a difference in the fit and feel, but the shoe is not like the others.

Comments: I had to return these shoes because my orthotic was too wide for the heel area of the interior shoe. I was so disappointed because it appeared the toe box would accommodate my wide foot. I did order a half size down as suggested by other reviewers and know that the shoe length was perfect. I have ordered a different adidas shoe, that from reviewer comments, may accommodate my orthotic.

Comments: I like these shoes. I don't usually wear adidas because the sizing can be off, but I got these in my usual size and they are really good. I usually wear Asics, which are cut narrower and I do not have a wide foot, but I wanted to try these because the colors on the heel are so nice. I ordered an extra pair since they went on sale. I recommend these shoes.

Comments: These seemed larger and wider than the other Barricade shoes I've owned in the past.
From:Cheryl, 5/23/19

Comments: Really comfortable shoe, but the fabric around the ankle started fraying after three matches, and was badly frayed after six.
From:Ali, 5/23/19

Comments: I was really looking forward to these shoes. They are beautiful, have lots of cushion and they fit great everywhere. Unfortunately my toes slam into the front of the shoe making them too painful to wear. I normally wear an 8.5 and that's what I ordered. Adidas usually runs a little roomy, so I am disappointed I cannot wear these.

Comments: These are the best shoes I've worn in a long time. They are cushioned and supportive. I add inserts so my regular size is perfect. I play on clay courts and can move quickly in these shoes. I hope they never change these. I need a wide toe-box so these are awesome.

Comments: I love the look of these shoes. I really wanted the Stella Barricade, not the Boost, but they haven't made them again. The tie area is too big and my foot moved around too much causing me to injure my toe. I hope I can exchange these for a half size smaller to see if that fits better. Much wider at toe than Stella Barricade.
From:Stacey, 10/8/18

Comments: I like a wide toe body and will need to send these back. Tight around the wide part of the front foot. It would be better if there was a search for wide toe body shoes.
From:Jeannie, 9/6/18

Comments: In my opinion, these run big. I normally wear Asics in both running and tennis sneakers. My running sneakers are a 9 and my tennis shoes are an 8.5. I ordered these in an 8.5 and they are very big on me. I like them enough to exchange them for a smaller size and hope that they fit. To me, the run so big, that I am not sure whether to order one or two sizes smaller (an 8 or 7.5). This is not a usual problem for me at all. My feet run on the wider side and I like room in the toe box.

Comments: Love these! Light and comfortable. Looking for more colors!
From:Weezie, 5/10/18

Comments: The best ever! They are so light yet so much cushion. I also have a wide fore foot and it fits perfectly.
From: Camille, 4/14/18

Comments: The Stella Barricade has been my go to shoe of choice for many seasons. I ordered this one with high hopes, but will be sending it back. The insoles cut into my arch -- I tried other insoles, which corrected that feeling, but overall the shoe doesn't feel as good as older models. The heel felt wider and my foot moved around too much. Overall it felt like a stiffer shoe -- the laces were harder to pull tight. I like responsive loose shoes and now realize I really don't like all white shoes either!
From:AB, 1/22/18

Comments: Loved these shoes but they literally have fallen apart within the 2 months that I purchased them. The rim of the shoe that surrounds the ankle has just shredded -- I don't see any reason why this would occur except that it is a poorly made shoe. The soles of the shoe are still in good condition but the shoes itself has stretched out so much that it offers little support. I think when you purchase these shoes you will fall in love with them but unless you want to buy a new pair every 1-2 months you may feel a bit let down like I do.
