Speedy feel, loads of support, and perfect for hard court sliders!

The Asics Court FF 3 delivers a speedy feel, glove-like support, and the stability to withstand the most aggressive movements. Designed for one of the most agile players the game has ever seen Novak Djokovic, this update increases the outsole's contact area creating a stable landing and reduces the load exerted on the body. The upper hugs the foot like a glove thanks to the mono-sock bootie construction, and is more breathable than before due to a more open mesh under the laces. FlyteFoam under foot feels very responsive and cuts down on weight, while the signature GEL technology absorbs harsh court shock.

  • Upper: Mesh and TPU upper provide support and stability with a tongue-less, sock-style design for sublime comfort and breathability. PGuard technology on the toe and medial side adds protection in key areas.
  • Midsole: FlyteFoam midsole offers ultra lightweight cushioning and support under foot. Midfoot Trusstic System technology adds rigidity and resists unwanted twisting for added stability.
  • Outsole: Three-piece outsole unit, which adds more flexibility and comfort. AHAR Plus rubber outsole in a modified herringbone tread pattern is built to perform on any court surface.
  • Color: White / Sapphire / Black

No Way JoseWhile this shoe is obviously a quality made product, there is nothing sleek, light or fitted about it. If you like big and clunky, this shoe is for you.

Best tennis shoe out thereI’ve been using this shoe for the past 2 years now (several pairs). Durability is fair considering I’m on court every day. Very comfortable. It is light and yet very secure. I suffered from plantar fasciitis and this shoe help me to reduce the pain tremendously.

to add comfort to comfortCompared to its competitor Nike, it was comfortable to play tennis for a long time. There was no discomfort or alienation in any movement of tennis. However, even though it was the top model, the shoelaces were not good. The quality of the shoelaces looked much better at Nike.

OK with sale price, but worse than Court FF 2The shoes are similar to my favorite shoes Asics Court FF 2. However, as mentioned in another review, the toebox is not cushioned enough, and I hurt my toes from time to time with this shoes, especially when I have to run fast and break abruptly. That never happened with the Court FF 2. I still gave this 4 stars because the shoes still work well for me in practice, and I got them for a good price.

Excellent all round shoesThis is my fourth pair of the Court FF3. Some nice upgrades from the FF2- a bit more padding around the heel, and a chunkier outsole all around. I order a half size up since these narrow quite a lot in the toe. Although I do have wide feet and almost no shoe is comfortably wide enough for me. Overall this is one of the best shoes available in my opinion!

Too Tight and Very ConstrictingI am always a big fan of the Court FF shoes. They are very stable and comfortable without a break in period. I was so excited when the FF3 came out and ordered a couple of pair right away. I was very disappointed when I received them as they are very tight in the toes area and takes effort to get into them. In addition to very tight, the opening seemed to have shrunk as well. Glad I still have a couple of FF2s stash away. Hopefully, they will redesign them again to make them they way they used to be.

The Best Shoe overall on the MarketI am a high 4.5 aggressive baseliner. I have had experience with all of the Nike and Adidas shoes, but have found Asics to always be the better shoe. The FF3 is an aggressive mover's dream, integrated eyelets for laces, secure booty-construction, and slideable outsoles. The FF3's are very durable in the outsole, everywhere besides the medial/inner part of the shoe where sliding wear takes place. These shoes are also extremely comfortable when properly broken in, taking about 2 hrs of solid hitting/moving. These shoes ride high off the ground while staying extremely stable. The lacing system over the FF2's is greatly improved, especially considering you can really pull em tight and no eyelet wear so far in the two pairs I've tried. They have implemented the integrated eyelets which makes all the difference! You can appreciate the shoes the most when needing to make aggressive lateral cuts and slides. Overall, this is the best shoe on the market imo and am happy with Asics quality and CS. Definitely recommend.

Great shoesI don't know what's all the negative comments. I wore the FF2 last year to compete on the ITF and Futures circuit. I thought they are great shoes but the FF3 is an upgrade. A little bit higher on the ground with better cushion, better ankle support, the shoe lace system has not broken once after 7 pairs. Great shoes.

Terrible ShoesNike and adidas have been making some pretty ugly shoes as of late. So a few years I ago I purchased a pair of Asics FF and was very impressed with them. I later purchased a pair of Gel Resolutions and at that point became a fan of Asics. I purchased a few more pairs of Gel Resolution and FF 2. All very comfortable, durable stylish shoes. However the last few weeks I purchased these new FF 3s and the new Gel Resolution 9s. Both pairs were just awful. Asics totally changed their fit with their new line of shoes. These shoes in particular, are way too tight around the fore foot, they click when you walk. These are by far the worst tennis shoes I have ever purchased. And for the price it is pretty much unacceptable. I heard Djokovic had a big part in these shoes. He must have some pretty weird feet or Asics has lost their minds. I am switching back to Nike and adidas now.

Wore out too quicklyBought these in January and wore out in 4 months. My hours of tennis did not change during this time - way too quick to have to buy a new pair.

Bring FF2 back!Unfortunately they got this shoe wrong. It feels bulky and the toe box is uncomfortable. ASICS makes great shoes but they got this wrong. FF2s were way better.

Very badI don't own these shoes but tried them at the TW store during 2023 IW. Like others have said these shoes are way too narrow on the toe area and uncomfortable. Maybe someone with a very narrow foot could be able to wear them. On the other hand I tried the Gel Resolution 9s and they were great.

Court FF 3 not as good as FF 2I’ll agree with others, I wanted to like these but the change in the “last” of the toe box is a problem. They made it narrower in the toe and heel. It’s too tight. And, aftermarket insoles no longer fit properly, there is not enough volume to use them. Sizing up doesn’t help. ASICS needs to keep building the FF2, or fix this sizing issue.

Returned immediately big disappointment!I’ve had both the original FF and FF2 and loved them. Got the FF3 expecting the same wear and feel and was disappointed, the major issue was the inside of the toe of the shoe too much material almost over engineered it made clicking sound when I wore them. I returned them immediately and bought a pair of FF2 on the secondary market and hope ASICS bring them back!

Revised review by sneakerheadMy original review was for February 05, 2023 titled along the lines of "Better stock up on FF2s". Well, after an extended amount of time (at least 8 hours) breaking these shoes in, they are actually quite solid contrary to my initial impressions. My main complaints involved the stiffness of the sole and heel which resulted in a more clunky feel. Stiff things generally don't flex and you need the material to give and flex at least somewhat when you're on the move. I did go back to Gel Res 8s and FF 2s to refresh my memory and here's what I'll say in comparison: FF 3's ankle and heel lock down is quite good. There is more inner liner near the ankle and heel which supports a tighter fit which I really appreciate. I had worn thicker socks with the FF2s to compensate for this. It is also worthwhile to mention that the lacing system is better then the default FF 2s--I replaced laces in the FF 2s but I don't see as much of a need for the FF 3s. Reason being they're not terribly thin but Asics still has the do a better job of providing longer laces...come on now. Give these a try only if you are okay with a prolonged break in period. If you know this beforehand then this shoe deserves a second look. They just might be more durable in the long run than the FF 2s so think of the break in period as more of an investment.

Try before you buyI watched all of the videos TW and Asics had about the design process and was hyped to get these in the mail. On the positive side, I liked the improved laces/ lace system and they look like a million bucks. However, the toe box was so narrow I wished I had sized up from my FF2s. I agree with the other reviewers who say how clunky they feel. The toe box is super stiff and was a major bummer. Like the others, I ended up returning them because I wouldn't see myself wearing them casually or to play tennis. Only bummer is FF2s are completely sold out everywhere. Any chance TW can talk Asics into making more?

Compared to the Original Court FFI never tried Court FF2 shoes before, but I liked the original court FF shoes so much that I had purchased 3 of them from TW a few years ago. I am a senior (about 4.0 NTRP on my good days) and have not played tennis as much in recent years. I still have one new pair of the original court FF left, so here I am giving my own experience comparing court FF3 and the original. Pros: It is easier to get the foot in, but I still have to use a shoe horn like the original. These look very durable. Cons: A bit uncomfortable for me on the court or even when walking. I find the plastic upper to be horrible compared to the original fabric, although it seems most tennis shoes are being made this way now. For me a good pair of shoes is the ones that I am not aware of having them on when on the court. These shoes constantly remind me that I am wearing them! Conclusion: To be fair to the manufacturer, I am sure they have put a lot of efforts in designing these and these may work for younger and stronger generation, but not for me. I wish they just widened the opening of the original court FF or tweaked that a bit for improvement. Still, I am keeping these, hoping that maybe in 6 months they would loosen up a bit.

Serious Lack Of Proper CushioningI play tested the Asics Court FF3 and found the COMFORT issues in this new model too much to overcome. The shoe felt fine walking around my house for one day, but once I got them on the court, a number of significant issues became very apparent. First and foremost, there is a problem with the cushioning under the heel of the shoe. After an hour of play on the court, my foot was throbbing, and it felt like I had rocks under my heels. Whether this is due to the new “Air Channel” in the heel creating a smaller stack of foam in that part of the midsole or if it is due to the higher density foam of this design creeping into a major part of the heel cushioning, I am not sure. What I am sure of is that my feet hurt for three days after one hour of play in these shoes. Overall, I found very little bounce from the midsoles of these shoes and nearly no shock absorption. Perhaps if I added insoles to these shoes I could have improved this, but I feel strongly if you are paying $165. For a pair of tennis shoes, they should feel right out of the box and after proper break-in without adding another $50. in insole cushioning. In short, fit and cushioning needs to be good for me without making modifications to be a keeper. Finally, I did not feel this shoe was all that quick. They felt a bit slow to react when needed – especially up and back. The fit of the shoe is also a bit tricky. All in all, I was not at all impressed with the Court FF3 and cannot recommend them based on my experience. I don’t know what it is with Asics and my body, but proper cushioning and medial support continues to be a problem for me in all their shoes – the FF3 being the worst.

Wanted to like themI bought these after watching the amount of research that went into the product. Have found they're not flexible, clunky feeling, and dig into my ankles bones when moving side to side.

Ok, but difficultThe shoe itself is a little bubbly in the toe box and overall feels like you’re going to ram your toes. Other than that I think they move well, but my biggest complaint is the rubber is tacky, so I struggle to slide in them, and I feel stuck to the court, don’t recommend for aggressive sliders, better built for someone with nimble footwork.

not a real improvementI was really expecting the FF3 release, honestly is so disappointing the shoe performance, the cushion is really bad feels like speed resolution, FF2 was really good, also the ankle support is no so good as FF2. The only thing good is the weight, is a good improvement.

Just like the FF2, only betterI rarely write reviews, but logged in to set the record straight with some of the previous reviews... not sure if different production batches behave differently, or if the early reveiwers were even using the same shoes, haha (JK). These are just like the FF2's, only better - here's how: 1) The uppers are a lot softer (no break-in period needed and no more of the infamous clopping during the first few hours of play). 2) I think they look a lot better (that's personal, obviously). 3) The monosock hugs my ankles even better than the FF2's. The sizing is the same, IMO, as the FF2's, i.e., I sized down by half a US size for those, and did so here, as well - fits like a glove. The width seems the same to me, but the instep is a bit taller (not so great for me with lower-height foot, but nothing thicker socks can't fix). Easily the best tennis shoe on the market for many who seek stability. Not the lightest one, but the stability-to-weight ratio is through the roof. For fast, aggressive movers who often scrape balls from impossible corners, this is a great option for long matches - as the match goes on, the stability helps you conserve energy, which more than makes up for the little bit of extra weight.

Looks like I'm stocking up on FF 2s for now.Sizing/set-up: I always sized down 0.5 for FFs and did the same here, no issues. I always pair superfeet or powerstep insoles with my tennis shoes. What I typically wear: Gel 8s for practice, FF 2 Novaks for match play/practice sets Disclaimer: I've used them for few practice games and 1 practice session so I will provide an update. First impressions: Relative to court FF 2 Novaks: Pros: +Fit is snug and secure, +Colorway is great IMO +Maybe slightly better traction but this could be because they are brand new out of the box shoes Cons: -Requires more break in, not much give in the sole The articulated portions of the sole is a cool concept but I didn't really notice much difference. Hoping it softens a little. -Heavier ~14.5oz vs. previous model at ~14.1 oz ish -I always preferred lower to the ground shoes (like Vapo 9.5s) and these seem a step back from the FF 2s. Could be placebo but my feet feel higher in these All in all, don't expect to be "wowed." Asics had to put out a new design for the FF2 Novak which was already pretty much in my top 3 of all time.

Great Update to the FF 2I've worn the Court FF 2 for years as my go-to tennis shoe and I'm just as happy with the Court FF 3. The sizing is exactly the same for me as the FF 2; I wear size 9.5 in the Court FF as well as the Gel Resolution versus 10.0 in Nike shoes. I like the new lacing system and sole design as well as the signature snug fit which helps me move quickly around the court.

A Very Good Tennis ShoeI am a big fan of the Asics Gel Resolution 7 and Court FF 2. I am not a fan of the Gel Resolution 8 or Court Solution Speed FF 2. I also know that I do not like KSwiss or Diadora generally. For any pair of tennis shoes that I wear, I replace the insoles with Dr. Scholl's Performance Sized to Fit Running Insoles. They make a huge difference but cost $40 themselves. If these preferences and practices happen to describe you then I think you will like these shoes. They are very secure on my foot and very comfortable. And while the FF 2s were already durable, these seem even more so at the price of being bulkier. In action though, I did not notice that extra bulkiness.

Great improvementsContrary to the other comment, I think the FF3 improved nicely over the last generation. I really like they cushioned up the support around the ankle (Gel-Resolution 9 also has more support around ankle), and lowered the height of the bottom, so I feel I'm closer to the ground. The fitting overall is tighter, firm but not uncomfortable. It's balanced perfectly. All of that makes me feel way more stable than before.

Great for Novak, but maybe not for you?The Asics Court FF3 is not a big departure from the previous model. The shoes continues to be the standard for those all-court players who want to scramble in all directions and slide into their shots - like Djokovic who apparently helped design this new version. For that, these shoes continue to excel. The mono-sock design again engulfs your foot and the new lacing system does a better job of locking your foot in to the shoe. I thought the shoe felt more breathable than the previous version - so many of the complaints about the last version seem to have been addressed. I was hoping that Asics would improve the cushioning for the rest of us. While on court performance might be excellent, the shoe is quite firm underfoot. The new heel on this version - in particular - has nearly no cushion. After an hour of hitting in this shoe, my feet were throbbing, my knees were sore, and my hips ached. While these shoes might be great for Novak, they are not for everyone. The comfort level is sorely lacking.

Very DisappointingPreordered the new court FF3s from TW and received my pair last week. The shoes run more on the narrow side than the outgoing FF2. The heel of the shoe is very unusual and feels elevated. I found that incredibly uncomfortable and it felt like it was forcing my front foot forward. The mesh of the front part of the shoe is incredibly stiff and rigid and kept pushing into my foot if I tried to flex my toes. Possibly the most disappointing pair of tennis shoes I have ever owned and I couldn't imagine wearing these to walk around the block let alone play tennis. I ended up returning them and will look elsewhere or wait for the court FF4. Glad TW has a generous return policy.

Wow are these terribleHuge fan of the Court FF2, best tennis shoe I ever owned. Had to try these and wow was I disappointed. These are quite a bit more narrow then the Court FF2 and they should recommend sizing up half size. But beyond the size issue, the toe box is made out of a really hard plastic. I just wore them around my living room before returning them and they are arguably the worst shoes I have ever worn. The plastic is so hard in the toe box it feels like it is digging into your foot when flex your toes. Super disappointed. Hopefully the Court FF 4s aren't a total bleep show like these. Not sure how Asics managed to ruin the best shoe on the market.
