To give that stable feel when making lateral movements, the Dynawing technology has been added to the lateral edge. The upper is supple and comfortable feeling, while also giving the support needed to feel locked-in. Signature GEL Cushioning remains intact allowing for excellent shock absorption, while the durable AHARPLUS rubber outsole is formed into a modified herringbone pattern, for maximum traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.

Very stiffIn general I think Asics makes some of the best shoes that are on the market... but unfortunately this is not the one I would recommend. Extremely narrow fit, very stiff, and the side support feels very painful just after an hour on your feet.
