Designed to be the ultimate lightweight performance shoe, the Asics Solution Speed FF 3 provides a special blend of speed, stability, and comfort for players who run down every ball. Since the inception of the Solution Speed, comfort, lightness, and flexibility have been key elements of its design. With this 6th generation of the Solution Speed Asics re-engineers the Speedtruss system, which enhances flexibility and speed, while giving you stability to change directions with full force. The new uppers consist of woven mesh for a lighter and more comfortable feel, while also improving breathability. Also new for this update is Asics' Precision-Sole outsole made to grip the court when you need it to, and flex smoothly as you sprint all over the court!

  • Upper: Engineered woven mesh for a lighter feel and improved comfort (previous version had more TPU). PGUARD technology protects toe-drag damage, and added protection on the medial side.
  • Midsole: FLYTEFOAM cushioning is responsive comfortable. FLYTEFOAM PROPEL helps with heel to toe transition for a speedier feel when pushing off. Speedtruss improves flexibilty, and helps stabilize feet during intense transitions.
  • Outsole: High Abrasion Rubber with Preciosion-Sole technology. Innovative outsole design maximizes grip and flexibilty, but also allows hardcourt sliders to go full speed into stops for controlled, smooth braking.

Two steps backI've worn the Solution Speed FF for the past three years. It has always been super comfortable right out of the box and a perfect fit for my foot. This update is not comfortable right out of the box and is no longer true to size. I've always worn a 9.5 but my foot sloshes all over the place in this shoe.

Looks like best versionThese feel awesome. Just tried them out of box and owned the last two Solution Speed versions and these will be the best yet. I can tell in terms of design that the shoe is maximizing speed and comfort as much as possible with plenty of support. I’d ignore the “bad reviews.”

Not as good...I loved the last version and it seems like they are cutting corners or trying to make the shoe lighter. Either way it's not nearly as plush in the upper.

Would Recommend
Still light and right!I’ve been a regular user of the Asics Solution Speed since the first gen! I wear a 9.5 and the first Solution Speed was solid. The second Solution Speed 2 was phenomenal! To me, it felt like the Nike Breath Free 2. My favorite Nike tennis shoe of all. The Solution Speed 3’s were good but too narrow. I had to go to a size 10.0. Then there was a wait for the Solution Speed 4. Never happened. That’s when the Speed FF 1’s came out. They were narrow and had to continue going with a 10. The Solution Speed FF 2’s were a great follow up. Toe box was bigger but with the new lacing system you can adjust. Cushioning and lightweight with good support was still solid! Now the the Solution Speed FF 3’s are amazing! They feel like the Solution Speed 2’s! I initially ordered a 10.0. But when they came in the comfort was there but they were long on my feet. Sent back to TW and got a 9.5 and my feet are in heaven! If you like light shoes with good support ASICS doesn’t disappoint. ASICS has been my go-to tennis shoe for the last 12 years. They are very consistent with the production of their shoes.
