Premium comfort, support, with a wider-fit in the toe-box.

The wait is over! Babolat updates the popular SFX2 with a new upper design that's softer and more breathable than before thanks to an additional amount of mesh. Comfort is still the key storyline, as the SFX3 features one of the most advanced layered stock insoles on the market, along with the ever-plush Kompressor cushioning system that absorbs shock under foot from harsh landings. The Michelin rubber outsole continues to be one of the more durable materials on the market and will play great on a variety of surfaces. Players with wider feet who place a premium on comfort should take this model into serious consideration!

  • Upper: A mesh upper with TPU for added durability offers a breathable and flexible experience.
  • Midsole: Kompressor System heel cushioning technology for increased comfort and shock absorption during aggressive court movement. EVA/PU insole memory foam for plush feel underfoot.
  • Outsole: Michelin Performance outsole for impressive traction and durability.
  • Color: White / Navy

Great Shoe for Wide Feet or BunionsI have a bunion on my left foot and this shoe has been the most comfortable tennis shoe that I have worn on court (hard court, clay, and Har-Tru). The toe and forefoot box is very wide but the shoe nevertheless fits very securely. It runs true to size. The main issue that I have with the shoe is that the sole is not very durable (the heel tends to disintegrate) and replacement 2-3 times a year may be necessary if you play 3-4 times a week. However, the comfort factor overrides that problem, especially if you can get the shoe on sale.

Not proportionate shapeOrdered a 12.5 W, width is good but shoe is too long feels like a 13 or 13.5 in length. So not sure it really is a wide shoe.

PERFECT WIDTH/ GO DOWN IN SIZEUpon slipping the shoe on in my regular size, they felt great but super long. Had to go down half a size at first then a whole size felt more comfortable. Other than that feels wide and cushy.

Comments: I have the red, white and blue with predominantly white color of this shoe. I have a broad foot and usually take a 2E in New Balance. This shoe seems very loose on my feet and my feet are moving around too much. I have tried to lace it up tighter but to no avail. They are comfortable in the toe area though, just loose through the arch and heel.

Comments: These were too wide for me. I need extra room in the toe box, but the SFX3 had too much width in the arch area. I felt like my foot was sliding around. Not enough stability. I will use these for casual wear or perhaps light practice sessions.

Comments: I didn't know Babolat made shoes. I took a chance on a pair after reading they had a wider fit. I also liked the look. I have a wide-normal width foot and issues with arthritis that makes wearing shoes painful from time to time. These have a perfect fit for me, wide in the forefoot and a great lacing system that allows me to cinch them up wherever needed. I'm so happy to have found them and will definitely be buying more. Great fitting, comfortable shoes with traction and even style. Thank you, Babolat and TW.

Comments: The SFX3 has become my new go-to sneaker for a slightly wider fit. I wore New Balance exclusively for many years, just because of the widths, no more. A few years ago New Balance became extremely unreliable with widths and have lost their wide shoe reputation among everyone I know. This Babolat sneaker is stable enough on the court for me, as well as being stylish enough for casual wear. After my initial purchase, I bought three more pairs, in different colors, to guarantee I'd have this great-looking, comfortable shoe for awhile. Can't beat the $60 price either. The newer models are back up to $100.

Comments: Finally. Something that is deep enough and wide enough to accept custom orthotics.
From:Michael, 12/5/19

Comments: I have always worn New Balance because of their wide widths, but I was happy to try these Babolat shoes. They are very comfortable right out of the box, but I have to agree with other players who have said they lack lateral support. Honestly, wearing them on a warm day, I was afraid to make sharp lateral movements as my feet sloshed around inside these shoes. I tried tightening them as tight as I could, but that didn't help. They will go back on the shelf and maybe I'll try them in colder weather or just wear them as regular walking shoes when I'm off the tennis court.

Comments: I wore the SFX2 and loved them. I am so glad Babolat brought the SFX line back. In my opinion, this shoe has the best insole in any tennis shoe you can buy today. I have a high arch and move around a lot on the court. These shoes strike the right balance between support, stability, and flexibility. You can buy these and wear them the same day for a tournament, no break in time necessary or worries about blisters. My wife recently bought the ladies version, for the first time, and she noticed this too. We play 3-4 times per week and replace shoes roughly 4 times per year. Overall the Babolat SFX3 is the best bang for the buck and as long as they keep making this shoe with the same quality and features, we'll keep buying them.

Comments: These shoes are awesome. I have a bunion on my right foot and need a wide shoe. I was wearing the New Balance 1006, size 13, 4E. I was skeptical that these would work for me, but I was proved wrong. The mesh uppers are very forgiving, and I think these shoes fit me perfectly. They are extremely well cushioned, and are a pleasure to wear on the court, the cushioning seems to be all around. I find that I move really well with these, and am never aware of the bunion when I play. I have worn them now about 6 times and continue to be impressed.

Comments: These shoes are just as good as the SFX2, so glad that Babolat brought these back. I've tried so many brands and these are my favorite.
From:Marc, 4/26/19

Comments: Wow these are really wide and I think they also run a little longer than the previous generation of SFX, but overall they are very comfortable and well cushioned. I ordered the blue ones initially and just got the white ones too.

Comments: 4.0-4.5 playing 5-10 hrs/week. Exceptionally comfortable shoe for someone with wide feet. Accommodates a custom insoles easily. Comfortable right out of the box. I didn't notice any stability concerns on Har-Tru courts in singles or doubles. Ordering another pair today.
From:David, 11/11/18

Comments: Thank you Babolat for making a shoe for those us with wider wheels! I love these shoes, they feel great and look stylish. I am ordering another pair right now. I'm an average player, not screaming side to side on the court, and lateral support has not been a problem for me.
From:Steve, 10/13/18

Comments: 4.0-4.5 playing about 5x a week, so I need good shoes. So I so much wanted to like these shoes, I was a fan of the original SFX which were wide and very cushioned, I had bought 4 pairs until they changed to the SFX2. I walked on the treadmill with SFX3s and they were so comfortable. I was thinking I would stock up because it is so hard to find good wide court shoes. Well when I played in them and the comfort came at a price. The lateral movement was terrible. The upper is mostly breathable and flexible mesh, but it doesn't have enough firmness on the outside by the small toe, so when I got pulled out wide and had to stop to change directions and recover I felt my foot slide over the insoles inside the shoe. They reminded me of the NB's 1006 2Es in which they were light but no lateral support to plant and change directions side to side. The Asics Speed 2 was similar in comfort but somehow had a little better support, alas they don't make them like that anymore. These SFXs will be doubles only shoes. I heard on TV that Rodger Federer was a 4E yet Nike and so many other brands don't make wide sizes. Even NB's top shoe doesn't come in 4E!

Comments: The original SFX is the perfect shoe for me (wide feet), and after being disappointed by the narrower SFX 2, I was *extremely* excited when these were announced, and immediately ordered a pair. The fit is very similar to the original SFX, and -- unexpected bonus -- they look really really nice! However... Did Babolat forget that this shoe is for tennis?? Where is the lateral support?!There is literally *no* lateral support and the upper is way too soft. When I played with these on hardcourt my feet were sliding off the shoe -- not exaggerating. I've never experienced this with other tennis shoes I've worn (Nike, Asics, original SFX, plus other Babolat shoes). How could they mess this up? very disappointing. However, as mentioned above, they do look nice, so I will just wear them as sneakers... For tennis I guess I have to go back to the ugly New Balance, sadly.

Comments: Finally, a light weight pair of shoes that run real wide! I usually wear New Balance 1006 4E (my actual width is between a 2E and a 4E but I opted for the 4E and wear thick thorlos socks). With the SFX I'm able to wear a much thinner sock made by Vitasox, which I prefer to wear because they are cooler my feet. I'm not putting down the New Balance shoes as they fit great but they weigh almost a full ounce more. Needless to say, I feel faster on my feet with the SFX. They have the perfect amount of room in the toe box and I was surprised there was no break in period that was needed as they were instantly comfortable right out of the box! I really like the lacing system as you can securely tighten them up and feel secure in them. Stability was very good but they do run a little bit wide around the ankle. However, thankfully, the last two laces at the top of the shoe allow you to adequately lock in your ankles. Overall, a fantastic shoe for me as I have not found a shoe as good as these since the Asic Resolution 6 EE which they don't make anymore. I loved them so much I bought another pair in case they quickly sell out.

Comments: Just got my new SFX3 shoes. They feel great and I have lot of room in the toe. My last pair of shoes were new balance 1006 11.5 2E and I got an 11.5 in the Babolat and they fit great.
