Overview

It's back! Just as comfortable, wide and plush as ever before, the SFX 3 has been updated for 2018! Similar to iterations of the past, this version features a mesh upper which not only provides breathability, but allows more movement and flexibility in the toe box. Support systems have been added to ensure confidence when moving laterally. Always plush underfoot, Babolat has injected this shoe with loads of cushioning and it comes with a multi-layer insole that specifically provides a soft feel under your heel and forefoot. The Michelin rubber outsole provides great traction and durability on all court surfaces. It is worth noting, the updated fit is a bit more narrow than the previous version. If plush comfort is what you crave in your footwear, look no further!

  • Upper: A mesh upper with TPU for added durability offers a breathable and flexible experience.
  • Midsole: Kompressor System heel cushioning technology for increased comfort and shock absorption during aggressive court movement. EVA/PU insole memory foam for plush feel underfoot.
  • Outsole: Michelin Performance outsole for impressive traction and durability.
  • Color: White / Silver

Very ComfortableI love the feel of these shoes! I am on my third pair and just wish there was a way to keep the white mesh shoes clean. Before wearing my second pair, I sprayed with sneaker protection and it did not help to keep them clean. I've tried washing with detergent, then baking soda and finally bleach, but nothing will clean the white mesh.

Good fit and comfortableI tried a few Tennis Shoes with a wide toe area and these fit my feet perfectly. They supply nice comfort and support. I wish it had a little more arch but I added that with a new insole.

Tennis shoesI play tennis frequently, and was looking for a shoe that would alleviate pain in my toes that develops after playing for an hour. These shoes are light, give at the toes, and offer good support. If they had more of an arch support, they would get a five star rating.

Babolat SFX3 All Court White/Silver WomensI play about three times a week, and these are the most lightweight and comfortable shoes I've owned yet. Also, the stability is great and they are nice looking as well. Highly recommend.

Buy this shoe! The best!I wore another major shoe for years and after suffering from a Morton’s neuroma I was forced to find another shoe for tennis. After sending many back, I found that this shoe is truly the best out there! Can wear right out of the box. Not constricting in the toe and doesn’t look like a boxy clown shoe. The shock absorption and comfort far exceeds what the others have. Buy this shoe, you won’t regret it. True to exact size.

Good purchaseI have worn Babolat tennis shoes in the past. Unfortunately, my feet have developed into needing a wider shoe and I could no longer wear my previously purchased Babolat shoes. I’m glad I found this wide style. They are comfortable for my wide feet and still give great support. I have worn them about six times and I would purchase them again.

Babolat shoes SFX3I have very wide feet and I finally found my perfect fit. It’s very cushioned yet my feet finally can spread out and I am able to chase down more tennis balls effortlessly. This is my third pair of Babolat SFX3's. I love these tennis shoes, it’s the best!

Wide and softThe only tennis shoe I've worn for years. It’s wide and soft, unlike many other brands and models.

VERY pinkThey look pink online but felt even more so when arriving - like PeptoBismal. not necessarily my preference but they are roomy in the toe box area and that is comfortable for me. Also felt there was arch support.

Babolat SFX3 little less support than wantedNice looking shoe however, I wanted something just a little more sturdy for my feet. I'm sure some will like it.

Would buy againThese shoes are really great. They are very lightweight and also super supportive! They run a little wide and a little large, I recommend buying true to size or half a size smaller.

Babolat SFX3My foot is wide and the SFX3 runs a little wider and fits well, is comfortable and does not hurt my feet after playing hours of tennis. I now have (2) pairs of SFX3. I would like to see more colors in this shoe style.

The search is over!I’ve tried several different brands of tennis shoes recently without success…I needed a little wider toe box because of a bunion. A (bunion-less) friend suggested Babolat and sent a photo of the style she wore which was the SFX3. In the description online, it mentioned a more generous toe box so I thought I would give them a try. They are perfect!

Wide shoe, lacking lateral stability and cushI've been searching for a tennis shoe with good lateral stability, good cushioning, and a wide toe box. I have been wearing a Men's regular Court FF2 (because it's wider than the women's version, which was too narrow in the forefoot), but the toe box is still slightly narrow for my feet. Having read some of the reviews for this Babolat shoe I decided to give it a try. It's definitely comfortably wide in the toe box, however I don't have a wide foot (normally only need a regular women's width). This means that I have to really cinch the laces in the middle as well as use the 2nd eyelet in order to provide more support around the mid foot and the ankle with this shoe. In addition, perhaps because the shoe is so much wider than my foot, the shoe is a tad too long so I have to wear extra thick socks. I think if I went a half-size down it might be slightly snug with my custom orthotics in them. So, needless to say, I'm not finding these shoes to be all that comfortable except that my toes are not scrunched up. The level of cushioning isn't high, but if you don't need the extra cushioning then this shoe would be fine. I haven't yet worn this shoe enough to test its durability. Overall, if you need a wide shoe and don't require a significant amount of lateral support and cushioning, then this shoe could work well for you. Anyone with a narrow foot should stay clear from this shoe.

SFX 3 wide toe boxI love the Babolat SFX 3 shoes cuz they have a wide enough toe box for my one foot that has a bunion. I normally get size 7.5. For some reason with this color I had to get size 8.0. This is my fifth pair of SFX 3 and I hope they never stop making them.

Best shoe for bunionsMy feet are a mess (bunions on both feet and a hammer toe) and I have been having such a hard time finding a tennis shoe that doesn't hurt my feet. The wide tennis shoes that I used for years are no longer comfortable on my feet. Blisters everywhere regardless of how much tape, etc. I put on my feet. I read that Babolat is a great shoe if you have bunions so I bought a pair. They are amazing. I put them on and totally forgot about my bunions. No break in period. I play tennis 3-4 days per week so I am so happy that I finally found a shoe that I can wear without any foot pain. In fact, I love them so much I bought an extra pair for future use. Love Babolat!

wide & stylishThis shoe runs wide, which is good for me. I've been looking for a stylish wider shoe and this shoe is comfortable and cushy. No break in period, they are ready out of the box.

Previous Feedback

Comments: These shoes are comfortable everywhere except under the front foot. I don't feel any cushioning under there, not sure what the reviewer is talking about. I think Babolat can do better than this!

Comments: I highly recommend these shoes if you have wide feet as they have a nice wide toe box. I was not finding anything else that fit until these. They are comfortable, have much nicer insoles than any other tennis shoes I've had or tried, and do their job well on the pickleball court, making it so I don't really even notice them. I have not had them very long so I can't say yet how well they'll hold up to the court surface. However, I was impressed enough with the fit, and they need no break in, that I already got another pair for in case they change them, as so many times seem to happen. I wear a size 7 and they seem to run true to size for me.

Comments: I tried about ten pairs of shoes from TW and settled on this SFX3 shoe because of the wider toe box, and it doesn't hurt my big toe bunion. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I am a dependable size 8, and this shoe is slightly big, but I just wear thick socks or two pair. I wore the Prince T22 for years, and these are lighter weight and I feel faster on the court. I've had them about a month and worn them several times on hard courts with no issues or rubbing.

Comments: These are better than the SFX2 in that they have the wider toe box, but they are not as good as the original because they are too big. You really need to tie the laces tight in order to keep from slipping around. I probably should have tried a size down, but I don't think I should have to do that when I really am a true 7.5. Other than that, they are comfortable right out of the box and are light.

Comments: Comfy shoes like the first version, but there is no side support. Thank you Babolat for bringing back the wider version of this shoe, but my feet slide from side to side. The top part of the show is all mesh, which is comfortable and breathes well, but offers no stability. Please bring back the first version: wide shoe you could rock front to back & thick canvas/rubber on top for side to side movement support.

Comments: If you have orthotics these shoes won't work. With my orthotics I need to remove the inside sole from the shoe and the Babolat piece has much padding and cushion. If I had better ankles this might be a good shoe but not for me.
