Extended length paddle with feel & control

The Engage Pursuit MX 6.0 is ready to take your game to the next level! When it comes to this family of flagship paddles, this model offers the most pop and power in an extended length paddle and is a great option for a wide range of players. The paddle uses Engage’s proprietary Omni-Directional Graphite surface, which features maximum texture and friction for truly superior spin! Engage's Control Pro 'Black' Core, helps make the Pursuit MX 6.0 one the livelier, yet softer paddle cores on the market, with the 16mm. core width maximizing core control, and the 13mm. example adding more power. Compared to the EX model, the MX offers a slightly longer face and elongated handle length creating more reach and easier use of the two-handed backhand.

Don't buyI bought this paddle and within three months the edge had cracked and a one-inch piece fell off. I never hit it on anything, just regular play.

compared to what?As a new player to PB and at age 70 my needs are going to be different than a 50 year old. The paddle has pop. I am still finding the feel. It spins more. The biggest difference was hand speed at the net, seems slower side to side. I would rate this paddle as a bit more power than control, other people say it has control? would like to see PB paddle reviews get up to speed with other sports. Downhill skiing as an example, they bring in several testers, all ages, same day, weather, each tester is recorded with a review. I am looking for a little more control in a PB paddle. Do they even make senior paddles?

Intermediate PicklerI felt that this paddle was great for power shots and even for the control shots. The one issue that I had is with overhead shots. I don't know if it is the weight or balance of the paddle when compared to other paddles that I have used but I seem to be a little slower in lifting the paddle over my head causing me to hit longer smashes. But overall this is a great paddle.

Engage Pursuit MX 6.0Love my new paddle. Arrived in timely manner. I wish it came with a cover and better quality type grip. I regripped my paddle with Wilson cushion air because I like the ribbed feel. I used the same overgrip on my tennis racquets. So easy fix. It took a few hours to get used to my new paddle after playing with a Selkirk Epic for several months. That will be my backup paddle. With my MX paddle, I love the overall playability I get with it, especially placement as well as power. To me it has a nice balanced feel in my hand. I used graphite hybrid tennis racquets for many years, so I prefer graphite because I am a power player but can slow down, mix things up and place the ball. This paddle I believe will improve my game even more and bring me closer to a 3.5 skill level hopefully within the next year. I have only played pickleball a little over a year now and I absolutely love it.

Awesome paddle!!Recently picked this up at the US OPEN and honestly I hope they never take it off the production line! I will be buying another one for a backup because all I can say is wow!! The feel, pop, and control is just insane! If you want a good pro paddle to get the job done and more…this is the one!
