Overview

The Hypercourt Express offers a running-inspired fit with a plush, comfortable feel. The seamless upper design is lightweight and supportive while a base layer of mesh provides tons of breathability and cushioning. You'll feel fast and connected to your movement as your foot rides low in the shoe and close to the court. The unique midfoot shank gives you excellent stability during your aggressive lateral cuts, while the high-density rubber outsole offers excellent traction with nice durability as well. Fear not fans of the Ultra Express, as this update preserves much of the performance features that we grew to love. For players wanting something that's comfortable, lightweight and slightly roomy fitting, give the Hypercourt Express a try!

  • Upper: Seamless PU wrap over a base layer of mesh for lightweight comfort, support and breathability. DuraWrap over the toe area provides extra durability for toe draggers.
  • Midsole: K-EVA midsole offers plush cushioning while keeping you low to the ground and connected to the court. Midfoot shank adds stability and resists unwanted twisting.
  • Outsole: Non-marking Aosta 7.0 rubber compound in a modified herringbone tread pattern offers excellent traction and good durability on any court surface.
  • Color: Glacier Grey / White / Silver

Similar to Prince T22 but lighterI use custom thick orthotics over my 10 years of Pickleball. The only shoe that was comfortable was the Prince T22 but they were very heavy and klunky. Tried KSwiss, ASCIS, Diadora, and gave away all. KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 fits very similar to T22, but lighter. A little slippage in heal but can make a sock and tightening adjustment.

New shoesThe KSwiss Hypercourt Express Grey/White/Silver Men's Shoes provide my feet with enough comfort so that my feet aren't hurting anymore when playing tennis. Although, to add extra comfort I added soles to my shoes. Other than that, the shoe is good for folks with wide feet and provides comfort both in the area of the toes and the sides of the feet.

Best pickleball shoes I've ever hadI have wide feet and found these to be the best pickleball shoes I've ever had. They are comfortable, sturdy, and look great. Highly recommend, especially if you have wider feet.

My feet are happyI've played tennis most of my life and then transitioned to pickleball. I love my KSwiss Hypercourt Express shoes. They offer good support, are soft on my feet and have good foot/toe space. I play almost daily, am a 4.0, and can burn up a pair in three months. I believe their cushion saves my joints.

Straight out of the box comfortI had the Supreme version which were great. These Express are slightly lighter than Supreme. These sneakers are true to fit and comfortable straight out of the box. I have a large selection of other brands but these KSwiss with its DuraWrap hold my foot in position when I'm going for more shots, and lateral movements are a cinch. No toe jam with these sneakers while doing court prep, or running back and forth, side to side and backwards.

Fit like a gloveI've ordered these shoes several times. They always fit like a glove straight out of the box with no break in. They wear pretty well. The soles wear through first always on hard courts. Excellent for the price!

Very comfortable shoe! And durable sole.I wore Prince shoes for many years but either my foot changed or the shoes became narrower (my feet run on the slightly wide side). In any case, I developed pain in my left foot and couldn't wear them anymore. I recently purchased a pair of K-Swiss Hypercourt 2 shoes and my foot pain is almost gone. I have just one pair currently and so have been wearing them both on and off the court, and after 2-3 weeks of daily wear, the soles still look brand-new. They are much more comfortable than the Prince T22.5s that I'd been wearing.

Too low in the heelToo low in the heel, can't keep it on. Have run out of it several times. Going back to the prior model, Hypercourt Express (no number) which is now unfortunately available only in white/gray.

It's not the original Hypercourt ExpressThe original Hypercourt Express fit my feet really well with its nice wide toe box. This one is sized like the new Hypercourt Express 2, even though they're calling it the Hypercourt Express. I had to return them, as I couldn't even get them on my feet they were so tight. (I wear Hypercourt Express 2 in 2E, whereas my original Hypercourt Express wasn't labeled as wide.) Huge disappointment. Go on K-Swiss's website--which I wish I'd done first--and you'll see tons of reviews from people like me who got tricked into thinking that K-Swiss finally brought back the original version. Imagine how high the return rate must be for online orders! Not a smart decision on K-Swiss's part.

Comfy and SupportiveI decided to give KSwiss as spin after Nike continues to get rid of their good shoes and seems to make their shoes narrower and narrower. Heard KSwiss was roomier. I bought a Hypercourt Express and a Hypercourt Supreme. Both good shoes. I'd say the Express has more width and the arch is stiff -- almost feels like it has a built in insert. The Supreme feels a little snugger but still better width than any Nike. I prefer the Supreme for the optimal width and fit it gave me, and maybe they feel a little speedier on the court. Both are great shoes.

Comments: Absolutely awesome shoes, but lacking longevity. Beautiful, comfortable fit. No break-in required, they just feel awesome right out of the box. Good support and the heel pad prevents heel slippage. Normal width toe box. My one and only hesitation is that the soles wear too quickly. I have two pairs of these that look close to new except the sole has worn through to the foam in the forefoot. I just got a pair of the new Hypercourt Express 2's and can report that those have the same great comfort and feel. Durability of the rubber remains to be seen but it looks quite similar to the original, so I'm not optimistic. All that said, I will still buy them because of the supreme fit, comfort, and performance.
From:Steve, 8/31/20

Comments: Horrendous durability. Six weeks in and the herringbone outsole on the top of the shoe is almost entirely worn out. Comfortable, but pointless with this sort of durability. Look elsewhere people.
From:M, 6/29/20

Comments: I love these shoes. I always wanted tennis shoes that were closer to a running shoe with good comfort, and this is it. I have been struggling to find comfortable tennis shoes as many are made out of materials that are too stiff. I am happy with the KSwiss Hypercourt Express.
From:Andrew, 6/19/20

Comments: First time K-Swiss user. I'm very disappointed with these shoes, they didn't last like others I wore in the past. The sole is still in reasonable conditions and suddenly it was fully detached while I was running on the court. When that happened I had a small ankle injury. It was a very bad experience.
From:Alberto, 9/4/19

Comments: On the basis of comfort, these shoes are terrific. There is not really any breaking in required, this shoe is very soft and comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size for me, and the width felt normal. The major issue with these shoes is the lack of durability. After 3 months of playing 2-3 times per week, and more than half of that time on clay, the soles were worn smooth and toe was breaking through.
From:Nate, 5/8/19

Comments: Best tennis shoes I have ever worn. 70 year old hacker. About to order my fourth pair over two years. Fit my D/E width foot perfectly. Wide enough in the toe box. Nice support. Pretty breathable here in hot, humid Florida. Hold up just fine on the clay. And TW is always helpful with info on strings sticks. Thank you.
From:Jose, 3/10/19

Comments: Very comfortable and just a little wide in the toe box, which is what I need. Good traction on clay and hard courts. I will order another pair before K-Swiss changes the shoe.
From:Mike, 1/17/19

Comments: Great fit, comfortable shoe, but no durability. If I could keep the upper and put a touch more durable sole It would be great.
From:Steven, 11/20/18

Comments: Update: Holes almost worn through soles in less than 2 months playing 2 times per week on hard courts. Love these shoes for everything else other than durability. If they were $70 it would be one thing, but over $100? Sorry K-Swiss. Wouldn't buy again, and I am hesitant to buy even your 6 month guarantee shoes now.
From:Derrick, 10/29/18

Comments: Feel great but worried about durability. My shoes are showing some serious wear from toe drag already after a few months. I play twice a week. Great traction, fit, comfort, and they look sharp.
From:Derrick, 10/11/18

Comments: Really enjoying my return to KSwiss after years of using the Barricades. The cushioning and lighter weight are making these new Hypercourt Express' shoes perhaps the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Good stability and no break in it just took me a couple of outings to get used to the lack of shock to my knees. An ACL replacement 25 years ago means the cumulative effect of harder shoes is not worth it. Another major plus there is less toe jamming with more room/give in the forefoot here with KSwiss. Great shoe, great looks. Keep it up KSwiss.
From:John, 10/11/18

Comments: I am a 5.0 player and have worn Asics for the last 20 years. I have a slightly wider foot and have been searching for a shoe that is lightweight, durable and cool looking. I have a found a keeper in the KSwiss Hypercourts. Size is spot on (I never understood why other shoe companies had to tell you to add a half size or size runs big- make a shoe that is true to its size and move on.) This Hypercourt was comfortable, well cushioned and playable right out of the box. It's well cushioned and lightweight enough to make explosive moves without a clunky feel. The color combinations KSwiss has are spot on, offering many great choices. Congrats to KSwiss for making a reasonably priced, high performance tennis shoe that looks good on and off the court.
From:Mark, 9/10/18

Comments: This is a fantastic shoe. There is absolutely no break in. The fit is the most comfortable I've seen in a long time. I find the shoe to be great on clay and hard court alike. Due to K Swiss' unique shoe strings, they never need retying during play either! Great shoe, great price.
From:Rabbit, 7/17/18

Comments: I was unhappy when Asics discontinued the Gel Resolution 6 Wide, but now I'm happy that I found the KSwiss Hypercourt Express, since it is superior to the Asics in every way. Lighter weight, roomier fit (even though this is not a Wide), less heel slippage (ingenious heel counter pocket lining that helps keep heel from riding up), better cushioning. With so few choices for those of us who need wide width tennis shoes, this model is fabulous. I am a senior 3.4-4.0 singles/doubles player.
From:Rick, 5/23/18

Comments: Extremely comfortable out of the box! Plenty wide up front too. The blue/yellow pair I bought was very bad for sole durability. The other colors I've had in the past were much better. I do teach 7 days a week though!
From:JBuck, 5/30/18

Comments: Very comfortable shoe but ankle support is lacking and I agree with the TW testers that it just doesn't give you that locked in feel that gives you confident when working hard on the court. I would not call this a performance shoe. Would not buy again. The search continues.
From:Jake, 4/30/18

Comments: Absolutely love this shoe. I was wearing Yonex but their shoes are so high up on ankle, like a basketball shoe! The KSwiss were perfect out of box and playable on both hard and clay. Fits to size and good looking shoe. Get it, you will be happy
From:John, 4/2/18

Comments: Finally! These shoes are the best I've worn since I began playing. Supportive, well-cushioned, light enough, no sweating. I play 3.5-4.0 USTA doubles league and tennis drills all on hard court. Comfortable out of the box. I would recommend buying in a good tennis shoe store to try on for the fit. I can't rate durability since I bought these only about a month ago, but so far so good. Of course, I can only speak for myself; all feet are different.
From:Mike, 2/25/18Comments: These run a half size big. I have a wide foot probably a 9E but order 9.5. Light and supportive. I will not go back to anything heavier. They breathe very well. From: Bill, 8/15/17Comments: Seems to me that they not as wide as they were just a year ago. Perhaps they have changed the cut. From: Jeff, 7/21/17Comments: I've worn a NB 1006 2E shoe for a while now and thought I would give this shoe a try since the reviews were mostly favorable and seemed to indicate it was pretty wide. Although not as narrow as other shoes I have tried, it still isn't as comfortable as the 2E from NB. Going to give the adidas Classic Wide (4E) a try -- hopefully it will be better. From: Tony, 7/11/17Comments: Fantastic out of the box. A must if you have wide feet. It has a plush and luxurious fit. I'm a first time KSwiss buyer and so far, an extremely happy customer. Normally I wear Nike Flyknit Vapors but unfortunately I'm having trouble with getting it shipped to my country so I had to opt for another brand. Which was a blessing disguise. From: Junaid, 7/8/17Comments: Been wearing this shoe for a year. Best in toe comfort. I am a 3.5 player at the age of 74. Just purchased 2 pairs for my summer tennis league. Love these shoes! I had the T22s for 3 years and lost all my toe nails! From: Todd, 5/1/17Comments: Very good cushioning for a lighter shoe and sufficient stability although less that the Asics Speed 3. Uppers are reasonable comfortable too, they feel firm but seem to be comfortable enough. Fit is very wide and roomy for a standard shoe, needs to be laced up tightly even for my medium high arch feet. From: Wayne, 12/16Comments: This is my first pair of K-Swiss shoes and I like them! Very lightweight and comfortable from the first steps. Above average heel strike cushioning as I have lower back issues but these keep it at bay. Didn't even need an insert or pad. I have tweener sized feet that take either 11 or 11.5 depending on the shoe. I bought these in 11 and they are the slightest bit snug. Not uncomfortable and no blisters to after 20 plus sets, but perhaps my next pair will be 11.5 to compare. Great deal at the closeout price! From: Roman, 12/16Comments: Great comfortable shoes. With good stability. It's my best KSwiss. I started using it right out of the box. Bottom sole durability was ok. I am just a recreational player and play once or twice a week. Overall it was a great shoe -- no tears or issues. I recommend this shoe. From: Tennis, 12/16Comments: Very comfortable shoes. Lasted less than a month on the hard courts before I had worn off all the tread from the ball of the foot area. From: Brian, 6/16Comments: Great fit (I have a 2 EE foot) and way less clunky than the original Babolat SFX. The whole shoe is relatively wide and the lacing is flexible to fit. Far lighter also. The jury is still out on durability. From: Jeff, 5/16Comments: Best tennis shoes ever for my D/E foot. Been playing for over 60 years so that is saying something. Cushioned. Supportive. Lightweight. They are wide the length of the sole, not just across the ball of the foot. So far, I've worn them for 3 months on clay and hardcourts. From: Gerry, 5/16Comments: I was hoping these would be wide shoes like they claimed to be in the video review, but they were too narrow for my feet. I usually wear Wide New Balance shoes, but I wanted to add some color and style to my shoes. I'm bored of my whiter tennis shoes! From: Jason, 2/16Comments: Great shoe! Extremely comfortable and cushioned. Nice color as well. I tried the Asics Gel Resolution 6 (size 11) and it was narrow for me. I have a slight wide foot and this KSwiss size: 11 fits me perfect (with little space in front of the toe which is comfortable while I slide on the court so there is some space). From: Anonymous, 1/16Comments: Great shoe! Extremely comfortable and cushioned. Highly recommended! From: Al, 1/16Comments: I have a wide foot and most of the regular width shoes don't work for me. I tried this one after reading a lot of reviews. They fit me perfectly fine and I just had my first outing with them yesterday. Great traction and I love the colors. From: Anonymous, 10/15Comments: Follow-up from my comments below from the beginning of October -- I have played 6 sets in my new Hypercourt Express shoes and I am very impressed with my new shoes. They are a lot lighter than the Babolat SFX and as good as the Asics Gel Resolution 4s. As previously stated, I have a high instep and I'm a 9E. These shoes will work very well for me. Good cushioning in the heel and the forefoot area. Arch support is good but could be a tad better. Hope this helps all you guys out there with wide feet. From: Tony, 10/15Comments: Ordered a pair on 10/2 and received them today. I also ordered a pair of the Lotto Viper Ultras. I am a size 9E with a high instep. The KSwiss shoes are staying on my feet and the Lottos are being returned. While the Vipers have more cushioning, I could barely tie them. Definitely not wide enough. So, all you guys out there with wide feet take note. Unless you're a EEE, these K-Swiss Hypercourt Express should work for you. And, why not make a "fashion" statement as they are sharp! I will follow up in 2 weeks after playing in them a few times. My 2 previous shoe purchases were the Babolat SFX which are very comfortable but a bit clunk /heavy and the Asics Gel Resolution 4 which are also great shoes but are old and need to be replaced. From: Tony, 10/15Comments: Great shoe. I just wish that KSwiss made it with the same fit as the original Ultra Express -- which was a bit narrower in the mid section. I have, and have had, nearly all KSwiss models; the Hypercourt Express comes with a much more cushioned insole than the other models, yet it still doesn't take up enough room in the mid section for me (I've always worn D width). I replaced the insole with a thicker one and began wearing Thorlo (thick) socks and the tongue still slips to the side during play. While this is frustrating for me, I still think the Hypercourt Express is a great performance shoe and will continue to wear it. If you're looking for a stable, durable, great performing shoe that might fit a bit more snug, don't forget the Big Shot 2.5. It has the support and durability of the adidas Barricade 5 but I find it to be more comfortable with better performance. The Big Shot Lights are great but I destroyed them from the inside within 10 wears. I also wish that K-Swiss would bring back the original Big Shot. I had three pairs that lasted forever and performed extremely well. From: Scott, 9/15Comments: I ordered these last week and I've played in them 3 times. They are very comfortable with a lot of padding. There was zero break in. They were very comfortable from the start. Some other reviewers have mentioned slipping, but I've not had that problem. I do play mostly doubles so I've not played a hard singles match in them yet. I've been wearing the Nike Vapor 9.5 (Federer model) and so far I prefer the KSwiss Hypercourt. There does seem to be just a bit more room in the toe box of the KSwiss which is great for me. Also, every time I've worn them, people have commented on how good they look. That certainly isn't the most important thing to me but I think they look great and it's always nice to be validated. I'm a 50 year old 4.0, male and I mostly play doubles. I normally play 2-3 hours, 3+ times per week. From: Michael, 9/15Comments: I purchased these KSwiss shoes after wearing the Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour for several years. I play intense tournament and do drills. The only reason I switched was because the color combinations in the Nike shoe had become so hideous that I was ashamed to wear any. So I tried the KSwiss. Overall, a good shoe, easy to get used to, broke in fast; a bit heavier than the Zoom Vapor Tour. Durability of the entire shoe, uppers and sole, has been great. My only complaint is the heel box (or counter and counter collar) are too wide and not tall enough, hence they give mediocre support for the heel. The cushioning seems to be good but I have noticed since wearing them that my feet really hurt. So, after Nike decided to introduce a white version of the Zoom Vapor Tour, I have returned to them and my sore feet disappeared. From: James, 8/15Comments: Worst tennis shoes I have ever purchased. I am 17 years old and play 3 times a week at a high level. These shoes have given me arch pain and I have cracked my heels from wearing these shoes. The shoes are light up until the heel part which is heavy and bulky and causes the severe arch pain. My foot slips and slides in the shoes, I can't find a secure fit. Would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. From: David, 8/15Comments: I'm 69 years old. I play competitive singles in the Maine tennis association. It took months to break in the Big Shot with crunched toes. Surprise, the Hypercourt Express arrived and fits so naturally that I forgot about crunched toes. I have a 13EE foot amd these shoes are comfortable and responsive. The slight extra room in the toe box is what makes the difference. I feel I can compete again without the vise agony of the Big Shot. There are plenty of shoes for skinny feet, very few for wider feet. Let's keep the Hypercourt Express! From: John, 7/15Comments: Great performance shoe! First thing to consider is, as advertised, it is wider in the forefoot than other KSwiss styles. While it suits my foot shape, it may not be for those with narrower feet. Even with my wider foot there are occasional radical direction changes where I can feel movement/sliding inside the shoe. That's the only negative I can report. The positives are many: 1) well cushioned, 2) good lateral and arch support (not too high) 3) very cool/well ventilated, 4) seamless technology is awesome - many shoes are designed with irritating seams running across the balls of the feet, which can generate blisters. As much as I liked the Ultra Express and BigShot Lights before these, that was always an issue. In fact, I just received a pair of the slightly more expensive Hypercourt and it has the same bad seam placement (it isn't seamless). Wear Comments: Just average, no warranty. I play almost 4.5 singles almost every day (though I alternate shoes). I've worn through to the midsole (white) area in about 2 months. From: Steve, 5/15Comments: This shoe is awesome. Due to having a wider toe box, it was adventurous finding a performance shoe that fit me comfortably. I tried the Nike Lunar Ballistic, Head Sprint Pro, Asics Gel Resolution 6, and KSwiss Hypercourt. All but the Head shoes were too snug in the toe box and the Head was too stiff and clunky. The Hypercourt Express fits comfortably in the toe box while fitting snugly throughout the shoe to provide excellent support. The cushioning and ventilation are excellent. Although there is no sole guarantee, the sole seems durable and provides good traction. I am grooving on the cosmetics. Thank you, KSwiss and TW. From: Robert, 3/15Comments: Update to my 1/15 review: I have now been wearing the shoes for almost two months and I have no regrets with my choice to get these shoes. The shoes are showing essentially zero wear after more than 16 hours on the court. They are as comfortable as the first day I wore them and I never think about my shoes or my feet when playing. In fact, several of the issues with my feet and achilles tendon are gone. I highly recommend this shoe. From: Mark, 2/15Comments: I purchased the shoes based on the specifications of support and lightweight. I have worn Asics Gel Resolution 4, Lotto, and New Balance 996 recently. Most recently I compared the Asics Gel Resolution 5, Asics Gel Resolution 6, Yonex Power Cushion, adidas Barricade 2015, and this KSwiss Hypercourt Express. I picked the KSwiss Hypercourt Express because of the comfort. It was very close between the Asics Gel Resolution 6 but the KSwiss won on comfort. After playing in them for the first time, they did not disappoint. For a shoe that is light and extremely comfortable, they had all of the needed support. I played two hours without ever thinking about my feet or the shoes on them. It was a great experience. Ventilation, grip, support, comfort, and arch support were all fine. The specs say that the shoe is a slightly wider than D width but it did not change how the shoe felt. I have always worn D width shoes. Great shoe and it has performed flawlessly. I am a 5.0 player.
