Lacoste's premium shoe for support and stability, also keeps you feeling agile on the court!

Lacoste updates their premium performance shoe, the Lacoste AG-LT 23 Ultra AC, to provide the ultimate support and stability for players who move powerfully on the court. Not only does this shoe offer the support and stability needed for players like Daniil Medvedev, but also maintains a quick and speedy feel. The stability of this shoe is achieved through a combination of the chassis in the midsole, a heel stabilizer, as well as the cage system integrated in the upper. The lightweight and speedy aspects are accomplished through the woven mesh upper, lightweight foam in the midsole, and the dual midsole construction which cuts down on mass in the mid region of the sole. A molded rubber toe guard helps to provide protection from dragging, while the grip enhancing rubber compound on the outsole supplies great traction and durability on a variety of surfaces.

  • Upper: Lightweight leno weave TPU mesh upper for a combination of support, durability, and comfortable fit.
  • Midsole: Lacoste Super Responsive Foam (LSR) made from lightweight Pebax ETPU under the forefoot, for comfort and energy return.
  • Outsole: Modified herringbone pattern with Linegrip rubber compound provides multi directional traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.
  • Color: White / Dark Green

Poor durability, plays wellMy previous tennis shoes have been the Fila SpeedServe, size 10.0. For the AG-LT Ultra's I had to go up to size 10.5, and they felt pretty snug. I have been playing tournaments and practicing with these shoes, and 2.5 months after purchase I am left with tears in the toe tip. These holes are more like tears in the shoe from aggressive stopping, not necessarily from sliding or any friction. I have taken two stars out of the review because they should last way longer considering their price. These shoes were also very delicate. The big LACOSTE logo around the heel had a few letters peel off after about a month, and the little logo on the side of the shoe has also rubbed off. If you bought these shoes because of their looks, you'll have to pay attention to try preserve them. If you have sweaty feet, it should be noted that these shoes need to be placed in the sun to dry out after a long day of playing. They do not dry out well, and there have been times where I have picked up the shoe the next day and it was cold with sweat. Solution is simply to leave the shoes in the sun, behind a window or somewhere to dry overnight. Comparing these shoes to the Fila SpeedServe, the AG-LT Ultra's would win in terms of comfort and playability. The AG-LT Ultra's are extremely comfortable and require very little break-in. They also do not hurt your feet when you play and they provide a lot of support. They are also nowhere near bulky and are very light. If I was rolling in dough, I would take these shoes over the Fila SpeedServes any day, but the problem is that I am in fact not rolling in dough. The SpeedServes provide enough for a player as they are $50 shoes. They lasted a lot longer than these AG-LT ultras and were also very comfortable. Comparing the two shoes, $160 is not worth it when you can buy $50 shoes and get around the same comfort and mostly the same durability. All in all, I would not buy these shoes again. But they were very nice for the first 2.5 months.

AmazingI was excited to see that Medvedev’s shoes were finally on the website. They are lightweight, but I wish it was a little more durable though. They were really natural to get into.

Best tennis shoes I've ever wornHistorically I've been an Asics tennis shoe fan, but the Gel Resolution 8's felt cumbersome and uncomfortable around the ankle, so I decided to give these Lacoste's a try after hearing so many good things about them. I'm glad that I did! These are without doubt the best pair of tennis shoes I've ever worn. Not only are they stylish and designed beautifully, but functionally they're incredible as well. I'm much more light on my feet with these and they are very well-padded so they feel comfortable. Lateral movement feels great, I can stop on a dime and quickly move in the opposite direction when need be. The tongue is padded with this plush foam that prevents the laces from digging into your ankle, which was a big problem with the Asics shoes. Another bonus with these is that they have about a 6mm heel to toe drop, which is very close to zero-drop for a tennis shoe, so if you are a barefoot shoe-wearer like me, these are your best option by far. Most other brands are 12 or 13 mm at the lowest. As far as their durability is concerned, I have only played in them for about eight hours and so far the sole/outsole is holding up well, but I never slide so that isn't a big concern for me. If you are a big slider on hard courts, these do wear down faster from what I've heard. If you rarely or don't ever slide, the durability seems to be great. I also did order a half size up and even though there is generous room, I think that's the way to go so your toes aren't squished in the toe box area.

Size up!Love these shoes so far. I had to size up a full size from my usual fit for them to be comfortable, but they're very comfortable at that size. A half size up would be a "performance fit" but it didn't seem worth the break in time and short term tough fit. These are high performance well made shoes!

Better than FF3s (and I'm an Asic fan)I will be adding these to my rotation and I would play in these for match days. My go to rotation is Gel resolution 8 with my custom insoles. I do occasionally play in FF 2 Novaks and FF3 Novaks; however, in my opinion, LT23 ultras beat both Novak iterations for me thus far. Only big concern is durability of the sole as I noticed it's a bit on the softer side compared to other brands. Sizing: 0.5 up from my normal Asics and Nike size. I have narrow feet and high arches and like snug fitting shoes but I had to size up for this shoe. Toebox is shorter than usual. Width is perfect. Comfort: Good balance of cushioning versus speed Security/confidence: secure, heel lock down Lacing system with runner's knot leaves enough laces to double knot (unlike Asics... cmon guys). Tongue is very comfortable and helps secure the fit 5. Court feel/speed: You have pretty low to the ground court feel unlike thicker sole shoes. This surprised me most about the sole. I assumed it was a clunky shoe. It is heavier than some offerings; however, this one feels lighter on feet and on court. Durability: TBD...I can already see that's prob not as durable and why it does not have a 6 month guarantee. Will update but it's not promising since the materials are on the softer side (not Mizuno soft, not Asic firm, in the middle). Sliding: I only have 5 hours of playtime and have not played a match or point where I needed to slide. Will write back findings. Aesthetics: These are fire...I thought they were kind of loud when I first saw them. But after trying the orange and highlighter yellow on in person, I love the tennis ball color.

Definitely runs smallThought I could get away with it. Ordered my regular size. Excellent shoe very durable, light, super stable and supportive. Awesome all around. But developed a major hot spot in pinky toe area. That won't give or break in unfortunately. Just had to order a pair 1/2 size larger. Highly recommend doing that.

Great shoe - runs smallFirst off this shoe runs small, when I got my typical size and tried them on I knew immediately I needed to try a half size up - the forefoot was completely tight, toes were bumped up against the tip of the shoe, the toe box was wrapped right against my foot. Went up a half size and definitely playable. First off, the traction is top notch both performance and durability. Tbh at first I was legitimately overwhelmed at how strong the traction was, I almost tripped and rolled my ankle because the traction gripped and stopped me so well. Only knock would be if you are a slider you sure as hell are not sliding in these but for me that’s not really an issue. Going back to how the traction was so good I almost rolled an ankle but was saved by how strong the support on this shoe is. If you want to feel secure these will do it for you. I must say these shoes compliment my footwork very well as I can move my feet and plant without any slippage or concern of such. Cushion is good, I would say it’s more responsive than plush which I like for giving the element of speed and movement. Materials are great, no break in, comfortable and durable - especially the toe guard. Only knock is the sizing, I would say go up half a size minimum and even then for me I might say go up a full size. I have a slightly wide foot and currently have been playing in a half size up and can feel that caged midsole after about 90 minutes. Not too uncomfortable but enough to make me want to try a full size up. First Lacoste shoe ever and really impressed and love the look as well.
