Created & designed with the help of Roger Federer, these shoes are supportive, stable & comfortable!

On has teamed up with Roger Federer to create a high performing, technical tennis shoe for players of all levels. The ON The Roger Pro provides step-in comfort as the engineered mesh upper is breathable and supportive while high performance foam encapsulates your heels. The rounded bottom unit provides extra stability as the carbon fiber Speedboard helps add energy into every step keeping you quick to run every ball down.  A specific outsole pattern offers great traction but also allows aggressive movers to slide on hard courts. While we can't guarantee you will move as smooth and gracefully as the Swiss Maestro, we certainly think this is a good place to start!

  • Upper:  Engineered Mesh provides support and breathability; midfoot cage ensures a locked-in fit for quick movement and added support
  • Midsole: Carbon fiber Speedboard technology for energy return; high performance foam cushioning underfoot for a soft feel; Sidestep support and extended bottom unit to increase lateral stability
  • Outsole: Rubber compound in a pattern designed to optimize traction and allow for sliding on the hard courts
  • Color: White / Acai

On the right trackThis tennis shoe is on the right track. It could be a great shoe with some tweaking for women. The fit is fantastic and the shoe stays in place. It’s well made and very sturdy. Now the downside, the shoe is very heavy and the ball of the foot area is wide. This leads to tripping and stumbling. The shoe also gets very hot in summer months depending on where you live. The shoe also wears out quickly. I really wanted to like these shoes. I will not be buying another pair until these issues are addressed.

Comfy but sole wears out quicklyComfy, except for the tongue which is too high and can be annoyingly in the way when tying. The sole wore out in about a month, which is ridiculous for how expensive this shoe is.

The treadI agree with the aforementioned comments. I slid twice and finally fell today! I thought it was the court but I was the only one struggling. I have had these shoes for three months. I play three times a week and I need to replace them. I love everything about them except their longevity.

Worried about TreadI'm a 50+ 4.5 recreational female player - playing tennis 4-5 times per week. I've been wearing the ON shoe for one month. The shoe fits me great and is comfortable. My main concern is the tread. The sole has a light cross hatch pattern. I've already worn part of it down after one month playing on hard courts. I don't think the tread is going to last as long as I want it to.

Almost there…There’s so much that’s really good about this shoe. The hard sole protects the foot better than any other court shoe I’ve tried. All of the materials that are used to make it are super, and it’s very cute and streamlined. Also love a good, classic white tennis shoe, and this one really fits the bill. In the minus column, it’s too narrow inside around the ball of the foot and there’s very little cushioning inside the shoe. If they’d fix those two issues with the next version of the shoe, it would be my new favorite court shoe. I hope On will do that. I had to return them bc of these issues, so I didn’t play in them. Finally, the front of the sole/ base of the shoe is wide like a running shoe, which made me worry about stumbling with lateral movement on the court, but if RF is putting his name on this shoe, I’ll trust that it wouldn’t be an issue. Hope to see a version 3.0 of this shoe with a few improvements soon. Our sport definitely needs better constructed chic looking shoes like these. Keep us posted, On! You’re heading in the right direction!

Heavy and Over-PronatesI wanted to love this shoe. But I do not. It is very heavy which makes me think I could easily trip on court. The heel is very wide. The shoe causes serious pronation and has lateral rims that are extremely wide. This is a man’s shoe in my opinion - that was not modified for a woman’s foot. Heavy and very solid. Fights against speed and agility. Like wearing ankle weights. For a few positives. Very serious construction. I’m guessing this shoe will not wear out. Wide toe box which I like. Because of how heavy and sturdy it is, once you’re planted, you can whale on the ball. Looking forward to a lighter version.

the women's version is rather narrowIt fits more like general Nike shoes - narrower on the width especially near the pinky toe; compared with adidas which is wider overall and wider toe box. I was hoping that it would run a bit wider as the reviews for the men's version revealed.
