A great option for players of all levels who seek absolute comfort!

Players seeking plush comfort and who like a roomy fit, the Babolat SFX Evo Men's Shoes need to be at the top of your list. The SFX line of shoes has developed a reputation for premium comfort, and this SFX Evo delivers it in abundance at an even better price. These shoes provide a larger volume in the forefoot (6% wider last) and a cushy ride underfoot, combining Ortholite Die Cut insoles and soft EVA in the midsole. The upper is flexible and breathable, while still offering the support and security around the ankles.  Michelin's premium rubber compound is formed into a modified herringbone tread pattern, and is more dense in high wear regions for added durability and great traction on a variety of court surfaces.

  • Upper: Synthetic and  mesh upper with added protection on medial toe box. Breathable, supportive, and comfortable; roomy fit in the forefoot.
  • Midsole: Plush EVA combined with a Ortholite Die Cut insole. Think soft and cushioned ride for long hours on court, and off court activities as well.
  • Outsole: Michelin Performance outsole for impressive traction and durability. Modified herringbone with increased surface contact to court for great traction. Outsole is more dense in high wear regions for added durability.
  • Color: Black / Fiesta Red

Forefoot room & ceiling for orthoticsI measure size 12.5-13, but toebox width makes many mainstream brand models too tight on toes for me. Usually, it's K-Swiss and NB toeboxes that fit. Add to that, now I'm wearing orthotics, which usually take up significant room in regard to "ceiling space" in a shoe. Tried these at recommendation of a friend in the tennis biz, who'd gotten a lot of positive reviews from customers. These are quite roomy in toebox width and ceiling, and I actually had to go down half-size to 12.5. Out of the box, plush and no break-in. Roomy, yet not boxy or loose. Like their appearance (black/white/red/hounds-tooth laces) compared to some of the other spacious offerings I and others have previously been resigned-to. Ventilation's good. When I first looked them over, I raised an eyebrow and wondered if the upper and footbed would have enough lateral support enough to keep me from rolling over, but they perform better than I expected. All court tread is great, thick, works fine on clay. After 6 hr on court, I'd say value is amazing: $90 for a shoe that checks so many of my boxes. Thank you, Babolat! In a version 2, let's add a little more lateral bracing, and I think you'll have the most comfy high-performance offering in the biz!
