Overview

Yonex's signature shoe for support, stability, and durability has been updated, now featuring increased shock absorption, and repulsion from the Power Cushion+ technology added to the midsole. The Yonex PC Eclipsion 3 is more comfortable than ever before, as the upper material is comprised of a durable, protective cage, with a comfortable, and breathable mesh underlay that hugs the foot like a glove. The midsole features the responsive, and plush Power Cushion technology, and is reinforced with new Power Cushion+. The stability is maximized from the Power Graphite Drive plate fused into the midsole, while the One-Piece Outsole provides enhanced court feel for those speedy players who like to slide on the hard courts. The Endurance Rubber compound is formed into a multi directional herringbone pattern to provide premium traction, and is more dense in high wear areas to increase durability. The toe cap has been beefed-up, and reinforced for added protection against toe-dragging. This shoe is an ideal choice for the modern aggressive mover, who is looking to maximize support, and stability, while enjoying a plush ride underfoot!

  • Upper: PU protective cage, with a mesh underlay for enhanced breathability, provides a contoured fit.
  • Midsole: Power Cushion technology offers exceptional cushioning and energy return, and is reinforced by Power Cushion+ in the forefoot and heel, for even more shock absorption, and repulsion. Power Graphite Drive sheet is inserted at the midfoot to maximize lateral stability and helps to propel you forward to the next shot.
  • Outsole: One-Piece Outsole formed with the Endurance Rubber compound, is designed in a multi directional herringbone pattern. High density rubber in key wear areas for the utmost durability.

Comments: I've had these shoes for about 2 months. When they were brand new they hurt my feet and today they still hurt my feet. There's a hump in the middle of the shoe that hits the outer part of my feet that makes it difficult and painful to move. I will be switching back to Nike.

Comments: Great looking shoe. Fits very well and very cushioned. Maybe a tad snug, but not uncomfortable. The only down sides for me is that they™are a little stiff. Maybe they'll loosen up after a while, but the main downside is that I found them to be a little heavy. For this reason I'm looking for a different pair.

Comments: Fantastic shoes; plenty of support and stability. Coming from Gel Resolution 8 shoes and I think these play much better and have an overall better fit. Not the lightest shoes, but once you are running around, you honestly can't feel the difference. The white anniversary colorway was just too crispy to pass up.

Comments: These shoes are legit. Comfortable, feel great to play in. Break-in was not an issue for me they seemed ready to go out of the box, perhaps a little stiff at first, but I expect new shoes to be crisp until I wear them. Definitely true to size. Average foot size and your good to go. Heel slippage is not an issue, I actually like heels to be looser while I play, as I am on my toes a lot and come down into the shoes for some bounce. Cannot roll over in these, protection is there. Durable. Has some slide, but not too much at all. Yonex makes comfortable shoes. I have the sonic but it grips too much and messes my knee up. I have tried all brands, KSwiss are comfortable but bores me, nothing special. Nike shoes are cheaply overpriced, narrow and uncomfortable, and very cheap Chinese material; took me a while to figure that out, as I liked Nike. Probably because of their powerful branding. Adidas are good shoes but they tend to be middle of the road quality not up to par with Yonex quality, also not my style. New Balance shoes seem nice. Yonex is at least made in Vietnam where manufacturing is better quality than China. I would like to try Mizuno, haven't yet, but they are made in Japan. Yonex and the Japanese know style and quality. I strongly suggest these babies, the best tennis shoes I have worn to date. Many more to try though, but these are truly on point. More color schemes would be cool too. Also if more slide please, I like sliding in my tennis shoes on all courts. Grippy messes up my knees as the dead stops are terrible for the joints. Hope this helps someone looking for some premier tennis shoes.

Comments: These are very comfortable shoes. They are quite different from the Eclipsion 2 shoes, so don't consider them just an upgrade. I've used almost every tier-one shoe and liked these a lot. The only problem is I am anticipating, as I just bought two pairs just two weeks ago and have been playing 4.5 singles three times a week, it doesn't seem to last as long as the adidas SoleCourt Boosts or the old adidas Novak shoes. Again, they suited me the best, so I plan to switch to these, but try yourself as not everything is made to fit or be liked by everyone. I buy shoes upfront when they are on sale and in stock so thanks to Tennis Warehouse for replacing my SoleCourt shoes with these, so don't buy anywhere else. TW is the best.

Comments: Love these for the look. They take some break in, but not a lot. Wearing them around the house a few days was enough to get them to feel true to the marketing hype. Very stable shoe especially laterally; there is no roll at all. Glad I was patient with them. Out of the box they are a little stiff and the inside of the shoe needs to conform to your foot. It happens, but don't expect comfort right out of the box. Very pleased with purchase.
